Post count shows authority. Before the glitch thing I had almost 1,700 posts.

The higher the post count, the better respect you get here.

Let's take you for example.

You have 26 posts. People still consider you a n00b.

I have 1095 posts. I am a seasoned member here and quite a few people know me.

Agreed. I had around 2900 posts when it was cut. I lost 1850 of them. I've been around for a while, post count's what I look at it when I look at your posts.

But. The down time happened a while ago. Quite a while ago, so this is kinda old news and has nothing to do with the post counts. Look in the site feedback area for information on why it was cut..
