Aside from Xehanort who ended up taking Ansem's name, Xigbar, Xaldin, Vexen, Lexeaus and Zexion, all used to be Ansem's apprentices until Xehanort banished him, and then they all ended up becoming Nobodies. So while obviously not as important as Xehanort, the rest of Ansem's apprentices play a major role in the series.
