Hey guys, i'm back from my extended absence and i finally decided to make another RP. This is based off of a story i wrote. I got the idea from the camp half blood series, but mine is entirely different. The only thing the same is the fact that it uses greek mythology mixed with our own.
To start out i'll tell you the main plot. So, if any of you know your greek mythology you'll know that Zeus will be overthrown by one of his children. The only one who knows who that is, is Prometheus and he won't tell Zeus, and so Zeus has ignored it, and for many years he has reproduced many times. In the world of Aurora Academy it is just like our world, but Olympus is not in hour universe. It is in a whole different dimension. The dimension is known as Paradigm to most who know about it. It is everything and yet it is nothing.
The only people who may cross freely between Paradigm and earth are the 'gods' who are just strong people who reside in Paradigm. Paradigm is made up of three dimensions, it's much like we think of earth. There is heaven, which is filled with flying beasts, and ruled by the dragons. The middle ground has no name, but it is much like earth, it is the land of all the creature who can't fly. Anything you have ever imagined is in this world, no matter what type of creature it is there.
Then the final level, which is under the earth. It is known as short and simple the Demon World. It is where all demons and Monsters come from. Monster's can't go into the middle world or upper world, but the demon's and monsters can travel through the dimensions and get into our world. Only the weakest can get into our world.The barrier kept out all of the strongest demons.. And when they enter our world their powers are limited and the veil makes them look like humans to most people.
From the middle world the only people that can get through into our world, are those known as 'gods'. No one really knows how or why they are the only ones but they can. When they come into our world it is for pleasure and fun. Those who are conceived in these relationships are normally left with the one parent who lived on earth. They were born with special powers, corresponding to their parents. The children of the gods have always been called demigods or halfbloods. Demigods could see through the veil because of their blood, and if they were traveling with a god they could travel into Paradigm.
In this world there are also humans who can see through the Veil. They are known as Seekers. They have the power to see the aura's surrounding people. Humans have a plain white aura, demons have a deep red aura, demigods have a slightly gold aura, gods have a bright gold aura, and other seekers have a silver aura. Seekers are much like wizards, they have the power to use magic on earth. They don't use words or spells, they just think it and it happens. Their powers are not all encompassing, they can use them to manipulate the elements around them. If their powers are adapt in the area of creation they can sometimes create huge objects forever, where most can only create a average object for a small amount of time.
Your story starts at Aurora Academy, the school where all Demigods and Seekers go. Demigods stay and train here, and when they leave they can do many jobs, every single one of them becoming succesful, and many of them joining a secret squad. The squad is used to kill and defeat Demons and Monsters.
Aurora Academy is in Chicago, most students have cars, if they are over 14, those under have scooters, and students are allowed to leave as long as they are in a group, or have an experienced student with them. Chicago is one of the largest cities in the U.S, and has the biggest population of monsters and demons in it.
What most have not noticed is that the veil has been breaking, and that stronger and smarter demons and monsters have been getting through into our world. Not even the gods have noticed, but you know now. There is one reason why, but you will not know this as of yet. A single man has started this, and you will find him eventually, but for now you are ignorant of all that is really going on.
The academy is boys and girls and accepts only demigods. There is no specific way to tell if a person is a demigod without a Seeker around. Right now in the Academy there is a bit of a war going on. The Academy has a challenge to everyone. They seperate everyone into two groups, randomly chosen, and for no reason, but somehow one group has been able to take control of the choosing.
They somehow got the administrators to add a third group. They call themselves The Apocalypso's. The other two groups choose their own name each year. And it is now the beginning of the year. The Apocalypso's are a group of kids who rig the team picking every single year. They are the bullies on campus. The teachers and dean know it, but they can't do anything because of it. So they can do anything they want. ANd the Seekers of the group experiment with dark powers, and they plan in secret. They seek power to take. They are a power hungry group.

Personality: Chi is smart, funny, kind, and weird. He is a star athlete and a nerd at the same time. He loves to run and go camping. His friends are the most important thing to him. His family is just as important. He loves to study and he loves to read. He is a genius and an athlete. He can run faster then most anyone in the state, and loves anime. He is weird and funny. He is always smiling, even when he had a bad day.
Weapons: He carries around two black flashlights that, when the switch is flipped, turns into two lightsaber-like blades. They use the lightning in his body to create the beams of energy that can cut through anything. One blade is blue, the other is green.
Powers: He can control lightning in the air and in his body. He uses the many aspects of lightning with his powers. he can control magnetism and many other things. Since his father is Zeus he can also call on the clouds. He has even learned to control the clouds become dense enough to stand on.

Personality: Cain is outgoing. He is also always happy. He is jumpy and hyper. If he is happy he will tell you, if he's mad he'll tell you. He isn't afraid to speak his mind, and always does what he needs to. He is loyal and kind, but he can be mean, if you are an ass or a b*tch he will tell you. He doesn't care about what others think and does things that most people consider outrageous. It's kind of funny, and he is the nicest guy ever. He is also Chi's best friend.
Weapons: He carries around two guns, but he conceals them using magic. He named the Guns Cerberus and Ceres. One was black and the other white, both of them made especially for Monster and demon killing.
Powers: Cain's specialty is in sneakiness. He can manipulate the air around his body, or manipulate the molecules in objects to make them invisible. He can use his magic to hide his guns or any special weapon or things he has to hide from people. He is aslo very skilled in the controlling of the fire and wind elements, the more wilder elements. He has a tiny bit of control in earth and water.
