Limping into the parking lot, Khaios sees the group of people taking cover behind some cars. After takings his hand off from his leg and dropping some liquid from his hand, he runs behind another car a few meters away from the others. Seeing someone shocking a infected like he does, he decided that they are allies, and rather seek medical attention from them instead of the other two weirdos he met before. As Khaios jumps over the car he was behind, he pulls out his cross and starts spinning it around making a large whirlwind sending other infected into a couple of cars. Stabbing is cross into the ground, Khaios kicks the earth chunks at other infected as a larger infected smacked him into a car. Holy #@##, whathehell!

Looking at Demos," What are you doing standing there, SHOCK THAT FREAKIN INFECTED!"

Ignoring the fact that his backup weapon was now in the hands of a girl that had seen fit to rifle through his pockets, Taylor watched as the creature was suddenly struck by lightning. How odd…lightning shouldn’t strike down exactly on the Infected, especially the one that the survivors just so happened to be fighting. Risking a glance about the street, he saw that the kid had taken refuge behind a different car, across the street.

Not wasting the time necessary to think about what should happen next, Taylor moved from behind cover and got close enough to the creature so that a single shot should kill the thing. That’s roughly ten feet, folks. Squeezing the trigger, Taylor felt the shell go tearing through the barrel and go flying towards the beast, and he hoped that he had made the right decision.

He hadn’t.

The beast got up again, this time heading straight at the car that the girl was hiding behind, as far as Taylor knew. “Oh, for god’s sake” he said before tearing at the creature, getting in between it and the car. Squeezing the trigger six more times, Taylor emptied the entire shotgun into the creature’s head and legs. It stopped for a moment, and Taylor reached for the pistol that wasn’t there. Growing wide eyed with fear for the first time since Amelia had died, he quickly switched his knife over to his left hand when he had an idea.

Pulling the cigarette box from his pocket, he selected one and lit it with his lighter. Taking one final drag from his bad habit, Taylor flicked the cancer stick directly at the creature’s head. There it stayed for a moment, the ragged flesh of its head holding it there. Walking away, Taylor got back behind the car and looked for the girl.

He had a plan, and it was a good one.

[ooc]MIND READERS UNITE![/OOC]

"F*CK!"

Oh, Gods, I need help...

That effectively stopped the music. Virgil decided to help whatever feminine voice had punctured into his song with such jarring force. From experience, he knew that all the survivors had some power or other. A three second search determined that the one in help was a fellow telepath, and that the one in front of him was the convenient healer.

And so he asked, "So, mister in shock in awe of my leet skills. Want to use your own, and have your hormones sated at the same time?" Of course, this was said with a hint of sarcasm, but his tone told the guy in front of him that Virgil was telling the absolute truth. "Follow me." He commanded, and unplugged the amp and guitar. Switching the grip on his axe to a two-handed grip near the head, he led on to the source of the scream with a cautious jog.

Until he saw more of the infected lumbering towards his to-be-helped-target. At that point, he charged forward. Leaping over the black-clad girl, he swung his guitar at neck height, using the force of the swing to decapitate the infected, and beat down the other one right next to it. Being careful not to hit things with the strings, he swung the guitar around once more, and whacked the last infected over the head, and making that infected an inch shorter in death.

With that finished, he asked the healer, mind-to-mind of course, Ya comin'? Over here, and yes, your hormones will be satisfied. Out loud, he talk to the black-clad, young woman he just saved. "Bonjour Mademoiselle. Let me help out a bit." and took the gauze from her hands so that he could wrap the wound even more effectively. When he was finished with that, he let his gaze sweep her body for any more cuts or wounds, and keeping his thoughts solely on that, just in case she could read minds too.

Somewhere on this planet...
Demos shook himself off and got up and again. He scowled and tried to draw the creature attention to him. He sent six orbs of flame at the beast. They all made contact. It let out a cry of rage and then turned to him.
The creature walked towards him. Fire was not strong enough...or at least, not in small quantities. He stepped out from behind the car and then was later surrounded and covered in golden flames. The beast was attracted to the light.

"That's right, follow the pretty light..." The creature charged at him. He rolled out of the way and then sent a jet of flames towards the thing. The thing roared. Demos threw flames at the creature, but the rotting flesh was hardened enough in some places to resist the flames. He doused the flames and then was covered in lighting from head to toe. The lightning surged from his head down to his feet and back upward in an repeat cycle. The creature came close to him.

He send out a bolt of lightning. this hurt the thing and sent it back a little bit. He sent small jolts, making sure he didn't over exert himself. The thing became distracted and this let him run safely behind the car where Gwena and the old guy were.

"What are we going to do about that thing?" Demos asked, taking a peak over the care and watching the creature confusedly look around for the target that was no longer there.

"Hmmm, this guy is skilled." Trey noted, tapping his foot slightly to the beat. It was intresting how this day was turning out, guitarists, old dudes, and chicks all appearing from the shadows. As Trey let the music flow through his head, he noticed how trusting he was being today. A cautious person would worry that, since food wearing thin, some people might turn to, well, canniblism. Trey calmed himself by deciding that he would deal with that when and if such a time came.

Trey was jerked out of his thought when the music abruptly stopped, and he looked over to the musicion. He seemed to be distracted, as if he were listening to something. But Trey couldn't hear anything out of the ordinary (although the faint sound of gunfire was going off in the distance). As abruptly as he had stopped, the guy adressed Trey suddenly.

The first thing he noticed the man had used the word "leet", which made him smile. Secondly, he had referred to Trey as having a "skill". Trey didn't recall using any sort of skill in front of this guy, whom he had never meant. He also couldn't imagine what he would be talking about, Trey didn't really have any skills he could think of. Then he caught a slight remark about his hormones, which made him smile again (even though he didn't quite understand what was meant be that.) While Trey was pondering these odd words, the man barked a quick command to follow, switched him handle on his guitar and ran off. Trey stared wide-eyed at as the distance between the two of them grew farther apart. Quickly deciding this could prove to be intresting, he started up a slight jog behind the guy.

"Wow, this dude is insane." Trey noted while he watched the man swing his guitar in an axe-like fashion (Trey chuckled as he realized the pun in that) at the Infected that stood in his way. This cleared a path through the Infected to... where ever this guy was going. Then the day reached it's peak, and he heard a voice that was not his own in his head. It was clearly the guitar-wielding man he had been following. "Is this dude a psychic?" he said out loud, a tad annoyed that someone could get inside his head. Walking on regardless, he quickly caught up to the mind reader and... another girl?! And another pretty one, not much of a realistic apocalyptic world. He blushed as he realized what the "hormone" comments were about, and was a little embarrassed that someone had misinterpreted him like that. He'd simply been caught unawares after a long period of time without human contact.

But he also noticed that the girl was injured, terribly. "Oh shi-, what happened to you?" he asked, keeping his distance. Her face showed how much pain she was in, and the heap of disgusting lying behind her quickly answered his question. He noticed that the man he'd been following was looking at him, as if he expected Trey to do something. "Do I look like a doctor?" he asked in his head, testing whether this dude was a mind-reader or not.

In my castle, plotting your demise
With all the explosions, the roaring, the flesh all over the place, Ryke didn't stay with his items for long. Heading outside, he saw one of the biggest Infected beasts he had ever seen in his short life. But..why did it look so familiar?

"Aw shit. Him again! I already lost a lot of crap to him. This time, he is going down. And it looks like I got some help..."

Others were fighting alongside each other. A lot of them. It was like they multiplied behind his back! Best part was the beast did not see Ryke yet. He had a chance to get in one move before it noticed. Rushing forward, flamethrower in check, he managed to get close to the Infected's feet. He blasted the weapon at the creature's ankle. With its attention on the others, it did not seem to notice his ankle was being burned off. But suddenly, the creature raised a grosteque hand and swiped at Ryke. He dodged it in time, but the wind was blown out from him. The damage was done. The creature's left ankle muscle was gone. It still had one good foot, but it could only limp now.

"That is for ripping out the Arcade! You knew I almost had the high score on all of the games!"

The Infected giant had no need to remember such a puny thing as Ryke. It raised his hand for another swipe. Ryke rolled towards the creature's feet and then rolled back when the creature tried to kick him away. He couldn't get a clear shot. He needed to find an opening. But if the others attacked him, the beast would just go beserk. Ryke needed someone to follow his orders. And Ryke knew exactly who he should call.

"Zeek! Come out and nab this guy for me!"

Something burst out of the top floor of the Tenco building. It zoomed past everyone and attached itself on the Infected's head. It clawed and gorgued, increasing the Infected's anger. But the Infected couldn't rip it off easily. Zeek was a stubborn creature. Ten feet tall, razor sharp claws, two fangs attached to the top of his hands, and daggerlike teeth, he was also very dangerous. Mostly black with red stripes and red paws, he looked like a creature out of hell. And that is mostly due to the fact that Zeek had four legs and two arms. Like a spider and tiger crossbreed, Zeek crawled all over the Infected and tore its face apart.

"This Infected's reign is about to end if Zeek and I have anything to say about it! I guess the others too. Take him down!"

"Do I look like a doctor?"

Knowing that he was testing for his mind-reading powers, Virgil answered simply, "To your asked question, no. You look like a boy who's only missing the robe to become a sissy white mage in a J-RPG. To your unasked question, when you got your powers of healing, I...er...we got our own powers over the mind instead." mentioning their good-looking "Find", and pointing a thumb in her direction.
"Though it really doesn't take a mind-reader to figure out what you're thinking." Virgil sarcastically remarked as he traced what was probably going to be the kid's gaze.

Watching the Infected beast from between tires after ducking back behind the car, Gwena felt the beginnings of fear squirm through her jaded thoughts, like a poisonous vine working its way through cracks in the concrete, ready to bloom. She tried to quash it, the same way you might step on a weed and tug it out. She couldn't deal with being afraid now. No time for that.

But this thing wouldn't die.

She wordlessly handed her maniac companion back his pistol as he returned, figuring that maybe they were screwed now and she might as well stick with her bowie knife anyway. He certainly acted like he had nothing to lose. Although from what she'd seen of of him so far, he always acted like that. She refrained from commenting.

The air was charged with everything that was happening, but that current seemed to be under her skin as well, prickling her back and fingertips, as if trying to push its way out. Gwyneth flexed her fingers and closed her green eyes with a grimace. The prickling had moved to her mind, only now it was sound and it wouldn't be quiet.

"Shut up," she muttered under her breath, bowing her head. "Shut up." She wasn't going to do what they were telling her, whether she was just losing it or not. The appearence of the creature the new guy called Zeek seemed to send a shock right through her, although she didn't look over. She didn't need to. Something inside her called out to join its fellow.

Gwena wasn't going to let it.

Wicked claws, gleaming, ripping, a cruel beak snapping and tearing. Wings rearing, something screaming, but it was all in her head.

The redhead opened her eyes and brought herself forecefully to her feet, bringing out her knife again. She ran a shaking hand over her face, trying to wipe away the worst of the city dust. The taste of blood on her lips was cloying, and she had an idea of how it had gotten there.

"I haven't even gotten to go shopping yet," Gwena said, self-mockingly petulant. She looked over at the entrance to the abandoned grocery store where the Infected's body lay, charred and torn apart by bullets and the claws of that thing she tried not to focus too hard on. She pushed off of the car and started slowly over, feeling strangely weak from her silent internal battle.

Just go get food and pretend you're not going insane, Gwen. Pretending always works for a little while.

What on earth is that girl doing? First she looks like she’s arguing with herself, and now she’s standing up and walking towards the grocery store again! She probably even thinks that I’m the crazy one, Taylor thought. At least he was like this because he could be, because he had confidence in his strength and his skills. But this girl…she was definitely batshit insane.

Grabbing her arm quickly, Taylor pulled her back to behind the car and knocked her onto her butt. She wasn’t going to be killed by some Infected freak just because she was crazy-although, it would help solve the whole problem of the Infected attacking everyone else… Speaking of which, some other guy had run right up to the damned thing and started attacking it with a home made flamethrower. At least this guy looked like he could legally buy a drink.

Feeling the pistol’s weight, he felt that there were only four shots remaining. Maybe enough to kill the thing, but probably not. Well, if someone had to die to protect the rest of these people, it may as well be Taylor-after all, he had already lived through life longer than the rest of them. Handing the girl whose life he was about to save his shotgun and a bag filled with eighteen shells, he loaded one into the gun for her and then allowed her to do the rest.

His knife switched hands again, and Taylor walked slowly towards the beast, firing all but one of his shots at the thing’s head. The damned thing was still moving, and Taylor hated that. You’d think that it would just die and get it over with Taylor thought, and he sincerely hoped that the thing would die soon. Unfortunately, it didn’t. Walking even closer to the thing, Taylor threw his knife directly into the thing’s forehead. It began to twitch, and Taylor believed that it was finally dead.

Walking directly up to it, he had just placed his gun to the center of its head when a ragged forearm came flying forward, hitting Taylor directly in the chest. He went flying backwards into a telephone pole, bruising his back. As he lay at the bottom Taylor pulled a cigarette from his pocket and lit it, blowing a smoke ring right at the creature. He checked his gun for what may be the last time. “Heh,” was all that he said, his only concern being that the others wouldn’t be safe.

The beast was coming towards him faster and faster, and Taylor believed that this was it. Preparing his hand to obey his will one last time, he was surprised when the beast was suddenly totally encapsulated with ice. It moved once more before stopping, and Taylor was amazed to see that even the things eyes were frozen in place. Just then he heard the sound of a body dropping, and he saw the hormonal kid hit the ground, looking as if he had just fainted.

Walking towards the kid, Taylor stamped out his cigarette and picked the boy up. He had saved Taylor’s life, so Taylor was pretty much obligated to do the same. He also walked back towards the girl, hoping that she had gotten over whatever it was that she had been through.

[OOC] Short post, just enough to lessen the amount I'll have to post later [/OOC]

Trey stared back at the man, one eyebrow cocked up. "Healer... you mean the spar- er, I mean light things?" he asked, remembering not to use the S-word. This guy must've heard his thoughts about the lights, how it might be possible to heal others using them. But this was just an idea Trey had been harboring, he wasn't compleatly sure it would work. The lights would move to his will, true, but he didn't whether or not they would affect other humans the same way they affected him. For all he knew, they might actually attack once within someone's body.

On the other hand, this gril was in deep pain. It didn't really mean anything to Trey whether she was okay or not, but might as well give it a try. Trey let out a deep sigh, and regarded the girl. "Well, it's up to you. I can't promise I'll be able to help though. "

"I also can't promise this won't make things worse" Trey thought grimly

What the f**k-

Was what went through Gwena's mind when she was pulled roughly back behind the car again. She had thought the damned Infected was dead, killed by that beast the other guy had called like a half-trained dog. But no, apparently this thing was harder to kill than a cockroach. Seeing it up and moving again, if wounded, made her appreciate the man's action.

She took the loaded gun numbly, a dead but comforting weight in her hand. She pulled herself into a relatively safe position behind the bumper of the car and kept her finger near the trigger as he went out to confront it.

C'mon, kill the f**ker, she urged silently, right eye closed to aim. She didn't want to have to shoot again, but she was ready if this guy were to fail....

Gwena started when he was thrown backwards, and as the Infected turned away she began to fire at its ragged back, each shot a deafening report in her unprotected ears. The Infected shuddered as each bullet hit the thick hide of its back, but didn't turn away as she hoped it would, continuing blindly on.

Growling in anger, she got up and stalked towards it, past caring. But it wasn't the fire of her gun that stopped it, but ice....

Gwena halted dead in her tracks as the enormous Infected suddenly froze over, literally, everything from its misshapen head to its feet covered in an ice so thick that she felt the cold of it from where she stood some six feet away. She slowly lowered the gun, eyes wide.

And it's stuff like this that makes me think I might not be as crazy as I think I am.

She sighed, then smirked a little, corners of her mouth tilting up to one side.

"Surprised you're not dead," she said to the man as he approached with the apparent ice-kid in his arms. "And look, you're even a hero now too." The redhead paused and dropped her caustic tone, holding the gun out by its snout in case he wanted it back.

"Well, thanks."

She glanced over at her failed destination, the grocery store. This whole thing was her fault, she realized, just because she'd felt like scavanging. Suddenly I'm not even hungry anymore.

“Hero? If I were a hero, my back wouldn’t hurt,” Taylor said, waving off the girl’s attempts to hand him the gun. Normally he would have been a jerk in this sort of situation, but he decided that almost dying ought to change his personality at least a little bit. “I couldn’t aim that thing while I’m carrying this kid,” he explained, before turning to walk into the grocery store that they had all fought to get into. He kicked the door open, knocking the thing off of its hinges entirely.

Looking down the aisles, he saw that there was plenty of fruits and vegetables that looked like they were okay, including a couple hundred things of canned-which meant non perishable-goods. Walking forward to a counter that was almost totally demolished, Taylor set the boy on to the polished surface and he walked around to the back of it. Grabbing two whole boxes of cigarettes, he began cramming the individual packs into any available pockets.

He also grabbed the rifle that had been stowed beneath the counter. Setting it on the kid for a moment to light a cigarette, as soon as the death wand had been placed back in his mouth Taylor examined the gun. “Hmm…looks like an M16,” Taylor said to whoever would listen. Checking the clip inside, he guessed that it had roughly thirty-four shots left; not much for a semi automatic gun, but it would be a nice addition to the shotgun and pistol that he-and his merry little gang- had.

Aside from that, Taylor just grabbed a couple of the bags of starburst and skittles that were lying around, and then waited for the girl.

“Idiots.” Aegis muttered trying not to grin as he watched the events unfold from the top of a nearby building. Though it was somewhat difficult to make out exactly what he was witnessing, one thing was clear from the time that he heard music blasting from this general direction not too long before. That one thing was, to his great relief, he was no longer alone in this great big city and, even more frightening, the world. Among the many questions that were racing through his mind, one particularly prominent one was how he did not notice any of these survivors previously considering how much they lacked subtlety.

He could feel what he assumed was a single tear of happiness roll down his face, the thought of others being alive finally sinking in. However, such thoughts were interrupted as he began to question exactly what he had just seen. Not only were these people heavily armed, but there seemed to be some sort of beast with them. Was it infected? Were they infected? Doubt crept into his mind as he debated whether or not to make an introduction; how long had it been since he had seen anybody that was alive who was also not infected? What were the chances of these people escaping the infection? Then again, how had he for so long?

He eventually began whispering the questions, all the while running his left hand through his hair, effectively messing it up more so than it already was. Talking to himself and often clutching his head had become habit for him in the long time it had been since he had any human contact. Standing absolutely frozen in place, Aegis realized just how little had changed inside of him since the infection had spread. He was still not particularly confident in himself (despite the success he had reached at such a young age in the work force) and still was afraid to actually take action and what some had referred to as ‘the first step.’ Then again, his encounters with the infected had taught him that caution was more often than not warranted; after all, he had survived this long hadn’t he?

Still, the questions continued and the urge to go down and perhaps have some of these questions answered was beginning to be too great. He was sure that if it was strictly a physical fight he could easily over power all of them, the problem came with the abilities that he could only assume some of the group possessed. Fireballs? Creatures seemingly under their command? A few of them seemed deadly accurate with whatever firearms they were carrying, however he was sure they’d be running low on ammunition by now. Should he attack them first and possibly anger his only hope of companionship allowing them to deem him as a possible infected? Or should he allow them the first move, possibly leading him to his demise?

He shook his head violently and put his hands in his pockets, his weight shifting from side to side as he once again fixed his gaze on them. One had now picked up an injured ally and seemed to be carrying him to safety; such was a characteristic that was as of yet unusual for an infected. The fact that the redhead had allowed herself to be pulled down so easily without retaliation also suggested that they were either survivors or extremely docile infected.

“Enough.” He said a little louder than he had intended, his voice still noticeably shaking as he made his decision and he stopped watching them.

OOC: I'll post again tonight probably, I have to go graduate right now.

Gwena shrugged and jammed the snout of the gun through her belt (safety on) before following him into the store, which seemed to be miraculously deviod of any more Infected. The smell of rotting flesh hit her nostrils as she passed by the meat department, the refrigerating system shut down like the rest of the power in the City. Over that was the scent of half-ripe fruits and vegetables left out a few days too long on their shelves. Some could still be eaten, she was sure, but at the most they would be very unappatizing.

She'd once had a backpack. Unfortunately, some long-nailed infected had slashed it to pieces while she was running a few days back, trying to reach her but succeeding only in catching her pack. She would need a new one if she was going to carry anything, so she headed over to an aisle that carried some bags she could sling over her shoulder.

Gwena ripped one down and proceeded to empty her pockets of her obscure medical supplies, putting them in the bag instead. Then she made her way over to the pharmaceuticals section, swiping several bottons of Asprin and the like in there as well. After that, she wandered about and took random non-perishables from the shelves, like peanut butter and a loaf of bread (although not quite unperishable, that was) and some bottles of water. She felt like a teenaged runaway.

Not too far off the mark. I'm still a teen, and I run away a lot.

When she was done with her scavanging, she slung the bag over one shoulder and went back to the front of the store where the unconscious boy was, the man standing over him.

Frowning, she pulled a bottle of painkillers from one of the pockets and snapped it desicively down on the counter in front of him.

"Take some, I'm surprised your back didn't get broken entirely." Gwena looked down at the boy, Demos she remembered, and didn't look away until she was sure he was breathing, his pulse working.

"My name's Gwyneth, by the way," she said almost as an afterthought. "Gwena." She sighed and leaned against the counter, running a tired hand through her half-tangled red hair. Tired of running today.

Grabbing the bottle of pills that the girl-Gwyneth, her name was- had put in front of him. Taylor didn’t even stop to read the label before popping four of the things into his mouth. Even though the pills weren’t supposed to work for at least a couple of minutes, he could feel the pain in his back going away within a matter of seconds. Much faster than they should work, even if Taylor had taken the whole bottle. Strange.

Looking at the girl, Taylor gave a weak little smile and then nodded his head. “My name is Taylor Yorke,” he said, “and thank you for the pills. I would have gone on just smoking and eating some candy for a couple of days if you hadn’t grabbed them for me,” he continued. It was true; Taylor wasn’t really fond of looking about for things. Especially when he had his precious candies.

Leaning against the counter similar to the way the girl was, he crossed his arms and looked up at the ceiling. He was wondering how he should word this, trying to be a bit more tactful than he had been in the past. “Back there… it’s not your fault, you know. Anyone would have wanted to get some food,” he said softly, hoping to reassure the girl. Before she could respond he continued with “As for what happened during that little scuffle… I know it’s not really my business, but are you okay?” he asked, and he was surprised that he genuinely meant it.

Scuffing his shoes along the floor whilst listening to some A Big Pile of Leaves in his head, Taylor would wait for her answer for a while before he took the kid with him outside. They needed to find some shelter, he knew that much… but first he needed to make sure that all of them were okay mentally and physically.

Jesus, I’m acting like a father, Taylor realized.

D'ara: In response to the one who was allegedly responsible for helping her, D'ara glared through the messy blonde hair that was in front of her face and said with a hint of tears coming on, "What do you think happened?"

D'ara then lifted her head and closed her eyes, still revealing pain on her face. She inhaled and tried to calm herself. It had worked before...it was a very strange thing. She would simply will herself into both physical and emotional numbness. Then, after a moment of silence, she muttered passively, "Just do it." With her eyes still closed, she lifted up her arm without wincing for him to inspect.

"My name's D'ara, by the way..." And she said it as if it were the last thing that she would ever say. Not that she really believed that she was going to die here or become one of the infected, but if she could not escape this cursed city, she at least wanted to be remembered.

"You're talking as if you're going to die," Virgil commented with a light-hearted expression as he sat down beside her, and put a reassuring arm lightly over her shoulder, "If buddy boy here would hurry the hell up, you'll be fine. Trust me." He looked in her mind, just for a bit, and noticed some of the emotions that were floating haywire and panicky were somewhat subdued. So, in preparation of the healing, whatever it happened to be, Virgil projected some calm into her mind, clamping down against whatever was trying to push the panic buttons.

Taking care of the emotional part, Virgil made another comment, as if it was the last thing on his mind. "Nice to meet you D'ara. My name's Virgil, of the Lifeson clan." and nodded to the "white mage" to do his thing. Whatever it was.

The girl, D'ara, gave her consent to Trey, so now there was only one thing left to decide.

"How the hell am I supposed to do this?" he thought, setting himself next to the girl. The mind reader had put himself around the girl, perhaps to help her calm down (riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight). Trey took a deep breath, concentrating on the spa- god damn it, lights in his body. He'd learned that when he focused, he could feel them, like a separate life-force from himself. As he grasped a hold of the lights, the guy spoke.

"Nice to meet you D'ara. My name's Virgil, of the Lifeson clan."

Trey couldn't help himself, he put his palm on his face and started smiling. "Damn it, now I have to introduce myself" he joked, letting out a sigh. "Trey Contact." he said, placing his hand near the girl's arm. Now this was what worried Trey, whether or not he needed to control the lights as far as healing purposes went. If so, there was nothing he could do. He had no understanding of the human body, and he certainly didn't know how to heal a flesh wound like this. There was also the chance they would reject being in another's body, and make things worse. His only hope was that the lights would do this part on their own, as they did in Trey's body. Taking off his sunglasses and putting them in his pocket, he silently counted down in his head.

1...2...3...

The lights emitted from the pores of his hand, like sprites rising from the surface of a pool. There wasn't much to describe, just floating white lights. They bobbed slightly in the air, and moved slowly through the air. Then, they easily went through the girl's own pores.

And Trey let out a sigh, they were doing exactly what he hoped they would do... whatever it was they were doing. The lights quickly set to work, doing all sorts of things that Trey didn't have the expertise to understand. The simple explanation was, they were healing her. It seemed that all Trey had to do was concentrate on a damaged area, and the lights would repair it like a tiny medical army. Soon, it appeared that her arm was fine. Trey let go of his concentration, and the lights naturally found their way back to his body.

Trey rubbed the back of his neck, and put his shades back on. "Well that was interesting." he chuckled.

"Aw you all must be having so much fun..." Limps into the area as Khaios looks at D'ara and Ving. Brushing off the thick dust from his green coat, Khaios sits down on the floor and throws his cross onto the ground. Putting his hand on his leg, he pulls his hand up forcing black thick liquid out. Screaming from the pain he throws his hand at a wall as the black liquid splashes and burns through the wall.

Panting," How the hell are you people still alive? From what i can tell i think im the only one with theses powers," says as his hands start exerting heat.

D'ara: When D'ara regained her focus and opened her eyes again, the pain in her arm was gone. She wasn't sure how long she had been out of it, lost in her own little trance, but it was long enough to be completely unaware during the healing process. D'ara thought that it was probably a shorter amount of time than she thought.

Both calm and bewildered, D'ara stared at her healed arm and let out a, "thanks." Moments later, Khaios appeared. She looked at him, barely moving her head. "It's good to see you, Khaios...I thought I'd lost you guys." She noted the would he had acquired, himself, and said to Trey, "You'd better help him out, too."

D'ara stood up off of the rubble, stiff, and rolled her shoulders back once. As she began to undo the bandages on her arm, she replied to Khaios' statement. "You're not the only one, Khaios." By the time she had finished speaking, her bandage was undone and D'ara was still in disbelief at her healed arm. It was as if it had never been there in the first place, and in the back of her mind, it was as such.
