Could Days be "DSi Enchanced"?

I thought of it myself but didn't think it was actually enough time to fully implement something like increased RAM usage for every mission (more minor features like camera use may be more likely).

I could never see what use a camera would have with Days.
Days is most likely a typical, normal DS game.

Not to mention, Nintendo has a tendency of not giving developers access to these new technologies until they themselves announce it (ala MotionPlus). Chances are Square-Enix didn't even hear about these kind of cards until Nintendo said so at GDC.
