Craziness=Creativeness.

There's a line between being able to draw a picture and being creative, you know. Alot of times you're just fooling yourself into thinking you're creative, if just to feel like you are special and unique, when really you're just doing the same boring non-creative material people have done for centuries. Creativity doesn't mean to have the ability to create, but the ability to create something new and interesting. Based on that, you'd be surprised to see how little the people in Creative Media are actually creative, and how many of them are just copying things that they've seen and enjoy. I don't want to sound like a dick here, but that's the truth.

And again, the amount of craziness required to be creative doesn't have to be "drooling from the mouth, and scribbling numbers on the wall". The smallest skew in perception could result in some form of creativeness. The degree of insanity you posse has a direct relationship to the degree of creativity you posses. The way the insanity develops, and ways you express it, are what separate the mental patients from guys like Dali. That said, I've attend an art college for three years now, and virtually every person there is insane or has some sort of mental/emotional disorder. Anyone there that can be deemed normal usually drops out after a semester, seeing how poorly their art compares to the others.
