So I decided to have an open challenge for a 1 v 1 RP battle. The way it's going to work is pretty much first come, first serve. However, I'm willing to look at any other templates that are > their predecessors. Make it as descriptive as you want, the more graphic the better and don't forgot to have fun with it. You can make your own templates but make sure to have the basics. Appearances can be typed out or in spoiler form with an image.

Name: Aeleon Sorentes

Age: 18

Height: 5'11"

Weight: 160 lbs.

Appearance: Aeleon can be accurately described as a scondrel with black wild volumous kinky hair, brown skin, sharp brown eyes and lithe and athletic figured rogue with rather "casual" apparel. He wears a worn black linen shirt with torn sleeves, a pair of black leather gloves with holes in the fingers (just above the knuckles) embossed with topaz jewels that rest just behind on black leather studs on the knuckle. Aeleon also has a pair of stylish black shinobi shozoko pants and a black leather belt equipped with a series of small smoke bombs, poison (in small cylindrical tubes), neatly square folded scrolls enchanted with elemental spells and a single black pouch the hangs behind his left hip filled with throwing stars. On his right thigh a black lengthy throwing knife pouch bound by gray bandages slotted on the inside with throwing knives. The pants he wears are cut off passed his knees and comfortably tucked away behind gray bandages to the top of his ankles. His feet are snuggly covered by black socks and custom made shoes perfect for stealth and acrobatics. Aeleon also has an x-shaped scar on his right cheek, a completely black bandana tied loosely around his neck, and a black wisp tattoo on his right shoulder.

Personality: Aeleon is an extremely cocky and hyperactive individual that teeters on supreme immaturity. He also carries a sly and provoking attitude when dealing with opponents, usually resorting to taunts and jeers as he gains a sort of happiness from another's frustration. However, when Aeleon is pushed to his limits, his demeanor becomes cold and stern and every move that he makes is full of the guile and brutality associated with most thieves...rogues...ninjas...vagabonds, whatever you want to call them. While is carelessly outspoken, Aeleon has a true talent for subtlety and can easily capitalize on an opponent's dropped guard with vicious and efficient attacks aimed at crippling combatants in mere blinkings of the eye. It is because of this that Aeleon values his speed and maneuverability over power. At the same time, Aeleon is a survivalist, able to adapt to given situations and act accordingly.

Fighting Style: Aeleon is a practitioner of "The Shadow Arts," a fighting style that utilizes speed, efficiency, and stealth to handle opponents. While the style usually incorporates numerous weapon techniques, it's heart remains in the use of medium-sized daggers that provide its user with vicious stabbings and malicious slashes aimed at maiming combatants. The style is also meant to adapt to one's surroundings but is lethal in every way, shape, and form when the user is immersed in darkness. The style is also fitted with a series of techniques that utilize the practitioner's speed, stealth, and mobility. Finally, the style has deep roots in the usage of equipment including poisons, explosives, and paper talismans agumented with spells evoked by the user that provide an additional edge to the fighter.

Powers: Due to the nature of the style Aeleon studies, his body has been granted abilities that allow him to move faster, jump higher, and strike deadlier than the average human being
  • Advanced Reflexes, Senses, Speed, Body Systems and Stamina that allows Aeleon to move faster than the naked eye, accomplish amazing acrobatic feats, endure seemingly endless periods of battle and punishment, react to even the most muzzled of movements
  • Ability to evoke the power of enchanted talismans and spell techniques with "The Assassin's Voice," an enchanted language that unlocks the qi or lifeforces that allows such things to happen.
  • Limited Healing Factors that allow Aeleon to recuperate from minor to moderate wounds in half the time it would take for most people.
Techniques: While Aeleon is a highly skilled student of The Shadow Arts, he does not totally know everything about it. However, he harbinges a multitude of skills that allow him to properly deal with opponents.
  • Flash Stepping: Aeleon moves with such speed that he leaves after-images behind. Although harmless, these images seem to be completely physical and react to harm done to them. Extremely useful when distracting an opponent.
  • Water Running: Aeleon is virtually weightless and can move above the surface of shallow to mildly deep waters. However, this makes him extremely noticeable and takes away from his coveted stealth.
  • Shadow Clone Technique: A Qi technique that generate completely identical dopplegangers of Aeleon. Acting through his will, the clones have the very same physicla characteristics of Aeleon. However, they are completely harmless and are used to distract an enemy during combat.
  • Shadowstep: A swift technique that transports Aeleon from one point to another by using the very essence of one's shadow or the environment's shadows. Unable to use in lighted areas.
  • Shadowmeld: A technique used in dark areas to become virtually undetectable. This technique can only be used in total darkness and is more noticeable even in slightly lighted areas.
  • Impact: Aeleon's single power technique that channels the Qi in his body to a single point of his body to hit an opponent and send them flying. After usage, the part of Aeleon's body that was needed for the the technique becomes tired and practically useless for a short time.
  • Shadow Dance: Aeleon's final technique that uses an optical illusion that shrouds the opponent and himself in a sphere of total darkness that only he can properly see through. In this state Aeleon's shadow techniques are heightened and can be used freely. The effects of this can only be taken away if Aeleon is severely wounded while inside the sphere or if sunlight strikes it or any kind of magic that gives off light. After the sphere is dispelled, Aeleon is totally drained of energy and critically vulnerable to enemy attacks.
Equipment: Because of the demands set by Aeleon's fighting style, he is equppied with weapons and tools meant to the get the job done.
  • Poisons: Aeleon has a multitude of self-made poisons, each with unique capabilities. The potency of the poisons Aeleon carries is relative to the amount of times applied on his opponent.
    • Instant Poison: A non-lethal poison that simply adds to the effectiveness of Aeleon's weapons.
    • Crippling Poison: A non-lethal poison that reduces the motor skills of the victim, making them slower, easier targets.
    • Mind-numbing Poison: A non-lethal poison that effects the victim's senses, making them disoriented and clumsy.
    • Deadly Poison: A near-lethal/lethal poison that swims through the victim until they faint...or die.
    • Wound Poison: A torturous non-lethal poison that works like Instant Poison but takes an additional step in tampering with nerve endings to decrease the victim's pain tolerance.
  • Smoke Bombs: Aeleon has access to three types of smoke bombs that provide him with cover and momentum in a fight.
    • Shrouding Smoke: A simple smoke bomb that emits thick clouds of black smoke that provide great cover for Aeleon to escape from tight situations or move to better positions.
    • Blinding Smoke: A smoke bomb with a single lighting strip that sparks brightly, temporarily blinding any enemy facing it. Once thrown it is extremely touch sensitive.
    • Choking Smoke: A smoke bomb that releases a non-lethal poison that constricts the victim's breathingwhen inhaled. If the victim doesn't move, he or she is bound to faint from exposure.
  • Paper Talismans: Aeleon is fitted with square-folded adhesive talismans with elemental enchantments.
    • Fire Talisman: An explosive talisman that can be applied to throwing knives or stars and can be used as a sort of "land mine." Damage is relative to closeness (Example: Standing on top of it will kupo you up indefinitely but if you only got hit with the ending blast, you can walk it off).
    • Water Talisman: A supportive talisman that provides Aeleon with quick healing of minor wounds and makes his projectiles into small waterbolts that can force back an opponent when hit with multiple thrown weapons.
    • Wind Talisman: Another supportive talisman that makes Aeleon lighter in the air, increasing his acrobatics and adding a minimal boost to his speed. When attached to thrown weapons it emits sharp, fierce noise that defeans victims for extremely short periods of time, making for a small window of opportunity.
    • Earth Talisman: A very unique talisman that allows Aeleon's body to accept "Earth's Embrace," reducing physical damage slightly. When flipped upside down, however, the talisman softens the ground Aeleon moves on, muffling his footsteps even further. When used against an opponent, the ground beneath he or she becomes muddy and sloshy, impairing movement for a short amount of time.
  • Throwing Knives and Stars: Aeleon wields two types of projectiles that work in slightly different ways.
    • Throwing Stars: Light, thin projectiles shaped like stars that move quickly and silently. Against opponents with enhanced hearing, the stars give off a slight yet noticeable whistle.
    • Throwing Knives: Heavier, thicker knife-like projectiles used for puncturing opponents and attaching talismans.
  • Twin Daggers: Aeleon's staple weapon held in each hand that provide ample stabbing and slashing attacks. Light and fairly thin with a slight thickness to them, these two daggers are virtually weightless in his hands but can actually provide some kind of stopping power (at the most staggering) to weak standing opponents.
Theme: Booming Silence (Character Theme), Swarming Shadows (Battle Theme), The Night Lord (Final Battle Theme)

Name: Tessa Yamanasuke
Nickname/Alias/Title: Commander Yamanasuke; Tess
Age: 17
Gender: Female

Personality: Confident, assertive and buoyant. Tessa’s characteristics mirror that of an excellent leader. Lower ranking members look up to her as a role model and while she basks in the glory, a humble voice resonates with her soul. On first hand, most might not consider Tessa a member due to the fact that she is never uptight. Much down to earth like most of those outside of the team, Tessa still has the maturity of a teenager; fun at most times but when business calls for attention, all jokes are thrown aside.

Being literally the youngest member of The Hand, Tessa does not necessarily look at it that way. In the eyes of Tessa, age does not qualify as an excuse to be of lower strength and intelligence. Be that as it may, the youth of the Hand does not fall at condescending tones given her age.

Appearance: Sharing the same genes as her brother, Tessa’s complexion is a fair one in that there seem to be no signs of bruises, lesions, tattoos or burns. A tad more pale than in comparison with her counterpart however. At a relatively below average height at 5’4, Tessa makes up for her lack of height with an exceptional body composition. Structured as if she were born from a test tube, from her peach shaped face to the sharp, ruby eyes, the youth understands and uses her appearance to her advantage. Although being only seventeen, some might shy away at the notion if she were to open her mouth due to the fact that her appearance does not reflect her age at all. A natural brunette, Tessa’s banes are brushed to the left while her actual locks are draped just along her shoulder blades.

Outside of battle, Tessa’s attire does not replicate the notion that she belongs to the group known as The Hand. In fact, just judging by first impression, that would be the last thing they would consider. A very basic white tank top begins her outfit adorned with a tight, navy blazer resting on the outer layer. The blazer is never buttoned yet the cuffs are held together by gold buttons. Extending from those cuffs are gentle hands whose fingernails are painted a dim charcoal.

Her legs are covered by a pair of leather pants held up by a series of three belts all of which whose meeting points are the head of a lion. The pants stretch down into a pair of black knee high boots which are laced very intricately and buckle on the ankle and shin. As far as accessories go, Tessa does not usually wear much outside of earrings: two in the cartilage and lobe of her left, and four in the cartilage and two in the lobe of her right.

Weapon(s):

Alpha Suit 3.0 – A specially crafted suit created just for Tess. Without the correct DNA match in every node of the body, the suit will not be operational, just an erratic fashion statement. Of course, the technology of the suit is based upon handling ninja on an expanded scale. While disabling energy through use of her own, Tess’s use of the suit becomes extremely wide ranged.

Mechanics – Essentially, the suit itself has an unlimited use of the Gamma element in its purest form. Exposure to high doses of Gamma outside of the suit can result in distortion in cells and molecules. The suit works wonders in the sense that exposure results in physical stamina being much more unstable and ultimately difficult to use. If one does in fact, insist on using magic or any other energy consuming elements, the amount of magic used for a spell becomes tripled. Given the strength of the suit, its radius maxes out at only 2 km which within itself is still a wide range of force.

Simple hydraulics in the suit makes it possible for Tessa’s speed and strength to undergo a positive enhancement. Now while her speed or strength may not match that of Yumei’s they are still something not to take lightly. Despite exerting the smallest amount of energy through her suit, the stamina of her actual strength is quite the anomaly as shown her extensive use of the Binding Sun. While even Yumei himself does not full control of the ability, Tess handles it almost effortlessly. Even going as far as to expand the Ability through use of Gamma, versatility is a key aspect in her fighting style.

The act of converting energy into raw Gamma is a persistent one in that without proper training, doses of Gamma radiation, even to the person in the suit, could be dangerous on a number of levels. However, defensive mechanics have been installed through the suit to prevent that. Tungsten Carbide, the making of the suit allows stress-free maneuverability and almost seems as if the wearer is not wearing a suit at all.

Alpha Suit 4.0 - ???

Techniques/Skills:

Binding Sun – When this specific Ability is activated, Tessa’s eyes transfer to a emerald color in every inch of the iris. The pupils also fade leaving somewhat of a ‘lifeless’ tone to Tessa’s facial features. The radiance of the eyes is ever present, one being able to spot the gems from hundreds of feet away.

On a whim, several blades are summoned at the aid of Tessa constructed purely out of energy. Their celestial vivacity relays the fact that the blades are forged with the element of light intact. The miscellaneous set of blades can range anywhere from one to ten. Each blade is set in motion by the consciousness of Tessa and of course based on how well her energy control is at which ever point in time. As fast as her mind moves, so does each of her weapons.

The swords also abide by the properties of light. Being able to ‘bend’ in a sense to the point where the blades in motion take the appearance of a quick flash. Again, the ability to control one’s own energy while using this ability is extremely vital. For some, being able to regulate pure energy by a series of thoughts is difficult to say the least. Through the integration of Gamma (the highest intensity of light), each blade becomes longer and its cutting power increases tenfold.

Freestyle [AS3-4] – A simplistic fighting style. Tessa attacks her foes through a series of stylistic maneuvers. Easily being one of the most fun to watch, Tessa does in fact show off while fighting. Even through the most serious of battles, nothing means more than finishing off with a bang. The attacks may essentially be forms of taijutsu.

Gamma Ray Burst [AS3] – More of a laser than anything else. Tessa forms energy within her hand and converts it into a beam of raw Gamma energy. The blast does not explode on impact but rather implodes within itself creating a devastating knockback effect. As so does the rest of Tessa’s attacks. Exposure to such a high amount of the energy disrupts the cells’ productivity and in turn creates a disruption in the energy flow of the target.

Gamma Rain [AS3] – Tessa magnifies the intensity of her energy output and forges a relatively large mass of Gamma over her head. The sphere then ensues to explode and small beads disperses over the immediate area. During the assault, the beads implode thus creating a small impact on contact. After the assault however, the area resembles that of a crater.

Stardust Missile [AS4] - ???

Purification Distortion [AS4] - ???

Just because of how you managed to describe nearly every aspect of your character and the sci-fi type (which I've noticed most people have some kind of trouble with) I'll take you sir. I'll have to take a few leaves out of your book for the appearance description, nicely done sir.

So, here's what the background should look like since I'm having a hard time finding what I'm looking for. Essentially, the setting is going to be a fairly dense woodland when nighttime is practically just starting. The fight will pretty much progress into the dead of night so if you can't find a picture that mimics this then we can sort of develop the setting as we post. I'll still keep looking for something though.

(Alright then we'll sort of have these parentheses to mark off when we're posting OOC during IC posts. Let's go!)

A dark indigo painted the night sky of a dense crowded woodland. With a lukewarm summer air, serenity descended upon such a land like its shrouding canopy of tall, large trees that twisted here and there to brandish thick branches that could easily be mistaken for additional trees. The sparsed yet clustered grouping of treetops only shielded against the gliterring poers of white light given by the stars as the new moon provided its many stars no aid in displaying their radiance. The clicking and the clacking of the cricket, nightcrawler and other creatures of the night brought a symphony conducted by the maestro of nocturne that could never be replaced. Thick bushes of shrubbery dotted the ground below and occasionally were separated between streams and mounds of rock.

A lone fox wired through its grassy realm with a snake's movement, quietly stalking its meal, simple night mouse. Oblivious to its soon-to-be fate, mouse scuttled here and scuttled there, adding its tune to the silent orchestra and stopped. With ears twitching in tense anxiety, it became aware that something was coming. Beady pleading eyes searched behind it as it made out a low crouching figure in the darkness. Yes, it had seen its stalker, its assailant, its murderer...its predator. As the figure lunged toward it and fierce yellows gleamed in glistening starlight, time seemed to encase on the two.

Then, just for a moment, something of pure blackness darted right between the two. While it seemed to be falling straight for them, it made no sound and with a siss, a delicate, muted siss, the large figure in black beamed toward a mesh of high tree branches only to disappear into the inky darkness. As if all the actions in the world lead to that single halt in time, father time continued and allowed nature to resume. With a whimpered squeak, the mouse was consumed in a smart crunch in the fox's mouth and all returned to normal.

A young man, nothing short of what could called "a ninja," darted from branch to branch with a blurred shadow and a ghost's stride. Clad in black, the wind swam through his wild black volumous hair. A wide smirk parted a pair of soft lips and smooth brown skin complimented the darkness. Sharp brown eyes focused on every next branch with a hawk's piercing gaze. The young man continued leaping from branch to branch until another came right to his face. Almost naturally, he allowed himself to fall by missing the floowing branch and raised his arms up. A light tap sounded from black leather gloves as his hand caught the branch. Bending backwards, the young man was launched into a graceful flip and landed soundlessly on another large branch below him. He stopped there, crouching like a thief looking for his mark and scanned the tree line.

Scoffing in disappointment, the young man's smooth voice that danced with mischief as he spoke, "So...whoever this guy is is supposed to be who I'm taking on? Kind of lame when I always the first person to make it anywhere. Probably some chunk of slow muscle that thinks he's the shit. Whatever, I have time to kill."

The young man grinned slightly and propped himself against the tree, sitting there hidden in the darkness like a lazy panther waiting some unfortunate prey to wander passed its gaze.

Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap.

Splash. Splash. Splash.

Quick-paced footsteps painted themselves along the lush ground of the dense forest. With every step a tuft of a light air mixture complete with pollen, crushed leaves and dry straws that were the result of the previous autumn. The chilly embrace of the shallow river was always in motion as if a different entity from the forest altogether. Overall, the area was slow. Not too many sounds other than the high pitched chatter between birds and the spilling over of water from one level to another. At face value, no one other than the creatures that lived here seemed to inhabit the trees or anything in the near distance.

The brunette halted for a brief moment. Steady fingers ran through her locks positioning any stray hairs back into place. With that same hand, she wiped her cheek ridding it of an itch or sweat. Her soft chin raised upward to gaze upon the sky. The sun would be setting soon and there was no telling what kind of creatures would reveal themselves at that time. Though a light presence gave way that something was already in the vicinity, the teen disregarded that notion.

A large breath entered through her nose and exited her mouth. She had already spent countless hours in this place and those hours were often spent wondering whether or not her help would arrive. Needless to say, this girl was definitely the type not to go down so easily. Even going as far as to tie her blazer around her waist. And boy was that a sacrifice. Kneeling down at the river's side, she cupped a fair amount of the liquid and downed it in one go. The ultimate thirst quencher.

"Now, was it east or west at the river?"

It hadn't taken long for the young boy's ears twitch with affirmation of someone's presence. Considering how diligently he munched on a miniature pouch of crunchy snacks and sipping on tidbits of water, it was almost a miracle that he heard a feminine voice. Immediately downing what remained of his food and water, the boy looked to his left and saw a girl, at least a year or two below him, pondering on whether or not to go in a particular direction. He grinned devilishly as he made a thorough examination or her...assests. After looking her over from concealed darkness, he also noticed a strange suit that the girl wore.

What really amazed him was how the suit seemed attached to her, like a second skin. Aside from that he continued his surveillance of the girl before making his way to another tree branch silent leap. After landing in an unecessary front flip he fiddled on the inside lining of his leather belt and brought out a tightly folded piece of paper. Unfurling it with a slight impatience, he blinked as he looked at an allof riddle that would allow him to label his target.

"An emerald gaze to place your mark..."
Such a pain to get these stupid notes from the teach. Why can't he just give me a picture? After sighing lazily he continued to examine the girl. Since he only could see her from a side profile and from his current position, from behind, there was no certain way to figure out if this was the target he was assign to "disable." He had never been assigned to women before and it sort of hurt him to have to fight women, even during his training. But as he was also trained to carry out orders without questions it would have to be done.

The boy crouched low and prepared himself to make his way to a far-off perch that would make ample cover and an angle from which he could actually look at this girl's face. every muscle in his thighs and calves tensed and the wind opened its arms wide as his body left the branch and soard toward a hanging limb. Snatching it, the boy was prepared to swing toward his destination when he noticed a pair of violent yellow eyes. In hindsight, "hanging limbs" never fit in this kind of environment. Dumbass...you grabbed a snake. Four glistening pearl fangs lunged at his face.

Bending his head back, he dodged certain death and let his weight pull him and the snake that was wriggling frantically in his right hand down. Rather than smashing his skull to pieces from his current descent, he rotated and placed the snake under her knee and stretched its body from head to tail in both hands (making sure to keep the snake's head completely clutched). The fall wasn't high enough to harm him but the straining reptile in his grasp would have a crushed spine. A rough thud echoed from his crude landing as a muffled hiss was drowned out from a choked crackling noise. He breathed out and quickly brought a small empty vial from the back of his belt and held it at the tip of the snake's sprawling mouth. Clear liquid dripped delicately into the vial until it was full and the boy snapped a rubber cork onto it and slotted it securely from its original place.

Then it him. Like a barrage of vengeful bricks, reality smashed into the boy's skull as he realized that he managed expose himself to the girl he was stalking. Pounding his head with the heels of his palms the boy threw himself back onto the ground and a complaining voice groaned regretfully.

"Aw man, I did it again! Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid! Ugh!"

(Yay for relatively short posts lol)

It didn't take long for the ruby eyed teenager to make contact with another person. An awkward silence passed between the two and as a result, the end result being the other faulting himself for some reason. It was a bit of an anomaly since he was just there. Even Tessa herself was needed some direction, and he looked as if he was from around these parts. It was a bit hysterical how he reacted when the two made eye contact though. Almost beating himself up over the fact that he had just run into a young lady. From her point of view, that was much more of a fortunate occurrence as opposed to one that you would have to throw a fit over.

A puzzled look crossed her face as one hand placed on her knee to act as a crutch from her crouched position. Those eyes darted in every which direction and ultimately aimed themselves back at the young man in question. Appearances were never something that a person should judge another based on, however, first impressions seemed to leave a longer imprint on the memory of some rather than simply looking at the clothes they wore or what have you. And this guy's impression left a ton of questions in the air. Unfortunately, the brunette was in a hurry and this may be her one and only source of information to leave this wretched forest. Looking up, she noticed that the sun had retreated closer to the horizon. A brief sigh managed to escape from her lips as she spoke.

"Hey I don't mean to interrupt your...er, whatever you have going on, but could you point me in the direction of a town or something?"

A gentle breeze slithered through the trees and as the wind picked up so did some of the loose leaves that made their way from branches, dancing away on the forest floor like some kind of organized symphony. A swift hand placed loose strands of hair behind her ear as if not to be blinded by them. The wind died down and the young woman crossed her arms waiting for an answer.

The young boy stared back at disbelief at the girl's reaction. She really isn't concerned that I was actually stalking her? On one end this could be considered some kind of a plus since she didn't sense any danger coming from him. However, in his heart of hearts, this chick was taking him for granted. Dusting himself of grassy residue and dead leaves, he stood up and spoke, pacing in a sort of matter-of-factly fashion, "If you're looking for some kind of town, then you're out of luck. The best way for you to figure things out is to go back from when you came. It would be a lot easier if you told me exactly what you're looking for."

He deliberately set up such a question to finally confirm if this was his target. Due to the fact that the clothing she wore was totally like nothing he had ever seen before and the fact that she was wandering in the woodlands home to his clan, which lived concealed from this leafy world, her answer would give him all the proof that he needed. His expression changed as the possibility hit him. In the past, the assignments he took involved eliminating others like him. The problem with this girl is that the equipment she had on looked extremely sophisticated and would be perfect for clearing out an area. As the threat level this girl posed grew, he kept a straight face, desperately holding in a wide grin begging to challenge his possible enemy.

As he waited for his answer, he began to actually take a more thorough examination of the girl before him. This time, however, he actually took quick glances at the suit bound to her, taking in anything that significantly caught his eye.

A question answered with another question. That was the way conversations worked in this day and age and the commander did not see a reason to disregard this person's question nor try any negative judgment towards him. Yet in her line of work it never hurt to have one's guard up. Especially because she had not noticed his presence before he 'accidentally' revealed himself. But she was in desperate need of some direction.

"I apologize but the reason I'm here is classified information from the higher ups," She pointed upwards as she finished her sentence. Looking past the boy and eventually catching a glimpse of his eyes, he was preoccupied with noticing ever inch of the teen's figure. She reeled back a bit hopefully giving her other a hint that 'hey, this isn't some kind of private showing'. The sun was almost beyond the horizon and the cool breeze once again scathed her face as if restoring any lost energy from the previous run through the forest.

A step here. Another there. And one more jumping across the river to the young man's side. She casually walked past him not taking in any more direction other than what he gave her. It was obvious that he meant to turn her back in attempt to prevent any 'stranger' from progressing any further. A flick of her wrist and a short blade came into formation just inches in front of her body. The blade significantly lit up the area and her eyes more so giving off an even more intense light than that of the blade. Her head turned toward the boy, not directly looking at him. Heck, she did not know whether or not he was still in the vicinity.

"Thanks for your help anyway."

The Forbidden Kingdom OST - 08 Two Tigers Two Masters - YouTube

There! He saw something gleamed on the side of the girl. It didn't matter what kind of information he needed. A saying he once heard from an old teacher gave him all he needed to know, "A snake will show its venom in its slither." He wasn't really one for philosophy but he certainly knew what to do next. A devilish grin spread across his lips and in a flash, a throwing knife landed precisely in front of her foot.

He proudly folded his arms and motioned with his head as if to say "c'mere," "You know, it's a little rude to hold secrets in someone else's territory. You'd ought to turn back right now." He lowered his head and dashed forward, arms limply hanging back with every stride. As he leaped across the river to his target, his shadow seemed to fade and he disappeared. Leaves trailed an invisible road until a firm hand smacked the girl's buttocks. Rolling forward, a boyish chuckle erupted from him and ran up the side of tree, perching himself on a nearby branch.

He waved impishly and drew two twin daggers from sheathes fitted snuggly on the very back of his belt and called out, "Care to have a tour?"

*SLAP*

A light streak of red crossed the girls face as her eyes grew revealing a face of embarrassment and shock. The knife beforehand was just a way of telling her to stop in her tracks but the smack on the ass was a step too far. And on top of that, his movements were pretty quick. This guy was bold and he was not afraid to let that side of him show. Sure the act was immature and the like but that was definitely not the way to treat a guest of his forest. If anything she was getting mixed signals from this guy, though it was better to keep a blade on hand just in case things got a bit out of hand more so than they already were.

"A tour huh?"

Her face switched from its previous shock and awe to a stern look complimented with a hint of confidence. If he wanted a fight, she would be sure to give him one, yet not to the death. She was still in command of her organization and any unauthorized deaths called for a harsh punishment. The ethereal blade faded into the dimness of the forest. A hand reached up to tie her hair into a ponytail and finalized with a signature hair-flip to get any loose strands out of her view. Her eyes narrowed on the boy who had settled himself in one of the trees. She was impressed at how smooth and effortless he moved about the area as if it were his own playground.

Surely she could reach him. A well planted foot comprised of enough force to literally place a dent in the earth, rocketed the teen forward toward her target. Her momentum came to a sudden halt once her face was only half an inch away from his. If anything, he would be able to feel her breath on his lips. It was as if she were floating in mid air as a split second passed between the two. A grin brightened up the girl's face as a one-inch headbutt ensued. There was no playful regard in that strike. It was as if she had never stopped her momentum, in fact, she had to catch herself on a nearby branch to halt her progress.

"Looks like I'll be the one showing you the ropes."

(Um...do you mind if I add a few abilities to my character. I had actually meant to include them in the original template but sort of forgot.)

With a solid thump, the boy felt his vision blur and the girl jetted right passed him. He should've taken a more thorough examination of the girl's equipment. As the cobwebs dwindled he regained his balanced as he practically slumped in the tree. Once again, a delightful grin parted his lips as his opponent revealed some of her potential. From his understanding, some portion of her strength was not her own. This meant that in order for him to extract the information needed from her, the suit would have to go. It wasn't his style to fight a girl, but in this case it would have to do. Risking an entire communities location was out of the question. Surprisingly enough, he knew that his intention was not to actually kill the girl although he had killed his own share of people in the past.

He scoffed and rotated to face his enemy, "Not bad, girlie. You got some speed on you..." his voice trailed off as the forest went silent. Crouching low as if to pounce, the boy bowed his head and spoke again, "but let's see if you can keep up with me." A dull beating noise came from the base of the tree as the boy shifted forward and dropped from the tree. He still needed to observe the suit's capabilities to properly act against them. Through raw speed and evasion he would search of the breaking point that would cripple his opponent. Without a noise, the boy disappeared into the forests shadows for a brief moment. In this darkness, the world became his own. Suddenly from her right flank, the boy sheathed his weapons and propped both of his hands on the top of her head. Leaning his weight forward, he leap-frogged over her with ease and descended into an upturned dive. With a nearly aggresive grace, he rotated clockwise and two throwing stars shot toward the girl. The intention was to aim at the suit itself but before releasing, he had snapped his wrists down to give them a curve. If this girl was truly who he was looking for, a small injury might provoke her in some way.

Find the enemy's strength to expose his weakness.

She was the same age as him but was a little stiff in his opinion. As he neared the ground, he planted his hands and executed a lobbing backflip, rolling backwards and grabbing the knife he had thrown on the ground. Taking an additional step back, the throwing knife headed straight for her. Judging by its speed, the knife would provide an ample distraction to allow his stars to meet their mark. With a dodging run, he unsheathed his daggers and receeded into the shadows. The longer he evaded his enemy, the more night would cast its infinite shadow.

The forest had died down in terms of noise, but that did not give a viable reason as to why her guard should be let down. She held a poised position, ready to maneuver at a moment's notice. Her eyes darted around trying to detect any sudden movements through the dense forest that was lost to her. Although it was not like she hadn't been in that position before. One might see it as a disadvantage at face value, but she welcomed it. From her right, the stalker placed what felt like hands on her head and pounced forward. Quickly she traced his movements continuing on through the thick forest. He was quicker than she expected and having this place mapped out was definitely an advantage.

Two sounds came from where her foe disappeared off to. Like two object cutting through the air. Tessa's eyes tracked them down relatively easily. After all, it was a straightforward attack, everything about it was vanilla. Halfway in their progression, the objects' curvature altered just as a high speed slider would. Her body acted on in impulse, winding about dodging the two stars which nailed themselves in a nearby tree trunk. The assault was not over however seeing as a third knife sought its way to Tessa. A backbend narrowly escaped the blade but not without consequence. Her rosy cheek received a slight slice revealing the crimson liquid running down her face.

"Nice,"

Outside of that compliment, she was just a bit irritated. Summoning one of her blades, it whirled around her like a miniature tornado. The blade took its place in the 12 o'clock position just above her head. In a split second, nine other blades forged themselves illuminating in the midst of the darkness like a diamond in the rough. Despite the intense force of light, it was still difficult to spot the little assassin. She did not want to decimate the forest to find one person, but if the situation called for that, she would not hesitate in the slightest.

The boy focused his gaze on the girl and the blades that rotated around her. With the kind of light they gave off, it would be next to impossible to actually sneak up on her without being seen or cut. He also took time to notice that his throwing knife had slightly grazed her cheek. Although he grinned with a sort of pride in his ability to actually make a mark on his opponent, it still sucked that he had made an impression on the girl's face. Meh, I'll just patch her up after I'm done anyway.

He waited for a few more moments and searched for a different angle from which to approach her. Although he was certain that the girl could move her blades vertically, they seemed to only move in a horizontal motion. The only next course of action was to strike her from above. But he would need another distraction. Since he was still in the shadows, he placed the blade one of his blades in his teeth and held up a left hand. After a series of arbituary movements, a single image appeared directly behind the girl. It looked exactly like him, however he knew that it had no ability to harm her. If the option made itself available, he would tackle the girl and lock her arms as they seemed to be a means by which the blades moved (he wasn't exactly sure but it was worth a try). The clone whistled at the girl and leaped forward, daggers at the ready and spoke, "Before you get taken down, how about you give me a name?!"

While the clone made its attack, the boy darted along the trees and waited for the opportune moment. The clone was about 20 meters away and he decided it was time to move. He leaned forward and dived towards her, hoping that she would take the bait. Then, he noticed that he had made a crucial mistake. While the clone he made was virtually harmless, the rising moon had cast its light on him the moment he jumped out from above the girl, casting his shadow. DAMN!
