Ven wants to forget about something...
thats how that spell works! cause its almost like silence that ailment...
and thats how MX said you forgotten something? in that trailer! it makes perfect sense!

Final Fantasy III

Erase is a level 6 Black Magic spell in this game. It removes all beneficial status effects on the target.

Except Final Fantasy isn't much of a basis for Kingdom Hearts.

Yes, KH uses Final Fantasy characters, they use Final Fantasy weapons and armor, but the one thing they didn't pass over to KH was status effects.

The only status affecs are the ones that the keychains bring to the keyblades. You can't cast haste, or esuna, dispel, or anything of the kind. No poison, no nothing.

Only the basic spells- fire, wind, thunder, ice were acually included.

So, while FF is a part of the game, it's mostly the later FF's, for one, and, there isn't that much FF reference within the games, for two.

They also use Gravity, Reflect, Aero, and Stop

And there really isn't any FF reference except in cutscenes including FF characters.-_-

something else.... instead its not a status ailment but similar to each other.
"Erase" would mean to forget in this situation

Well, Aero is wind- I was talking about mostly the basic spells, but those are included, too.

Either way, though, none of these spells, except Stop, inflict a status ailment. Therefore, no need for Dispel, Esuna, etc.

Also, we have no idea if the events of that scene happen before he asks Aqua to erase him or not.

Yes, that's also what I thought about when he mentioned erasing something, but we're not sure yet if MX was talking about Ven's memories, though that makes the most sense.

It makes sense for MX to be talking about Ven's memories, yes.

But Ven was not talking about his memories when he asked Aqua to "erase him".

He would've said something like, "erase them" or, "erase it from me".-_-

It would make sense if the scene between him and Aqua happened first, before the scene with MX.

I'm not saying that he asked to have his memories erased. What I'm saying is that that was probably one of the first things to go, in his erasure.
