If(a big if) Planet of the Apes ever came to the series, which Era should they go to?(Hypothetically speaking).

Perhaps they could have it be a sleeping world and Sora goes to the world of the original movie and Riku goes to the Andy Serkis era.

I distinctly remember an audience member shouting, "Hey, look! It's Aperaham Lincoln!", and the entire audience laughed and laughed hard. Needless to say that the men who wrote that remake were not exactly masters of suspense and twist endings like Twilight Zone creator Rod Serling(who wrote the original Planet of the Apes) was.
I love Tim Burton and hope he makes another original stop-motion picture with Disney, but god please; no more remakes, Tim.
