Can you please specify? Is that your PS3 ID, your PSP ID, is that both??? You live in Canada right? I'm going to put it up, and if it's wrong...then I'm sorry, but you might want to follow the format everyone else is doing ;D

Yes, the reason I put that is because if they are different (the PS3 and PSP ID) when you join the main mirage arena lobby, I don't want people to not know who you are since in the game it will say your PSP ID above your head, not your PS3 ID, which is used to contact you and help you join the lobby.

I dont have enough money for a PS3 and BBS so I gotta choose one or the other and im picking the PS3 so I wont have BBS until December 9th or Christmas.

So if you want you can remove my name or keep it up there if you want, my PSN ID and everything else will stay the same so that doesnt matter.

I will keep you up there, but I will color code it for people to know

You can use a USB cable to connect the PSP and PS3 right?

you can, but your PS3 connects to your PSP wirelessly I believe...you don't need the wire.

O ok, I just still don't know how to use ad hoc party. I have a router that plugs into the ps3, but i connected the ethernet cable in and when i try to go to adhoc party, it says i need a wired connection when its there.

I can change my PSP ID at any time then. I'll edit my post, right now, my PSP ID is "Nick". That's my psp's nickname. I can change it to XeRoDeStInY if you want, though.

Question: Does Birth by Sleep even support Ad-Hoc Party? Cause from this & this, it seems like only certain games support Ad-Hoc Party.

Yes, BBS has ad-hoc mode. That's the whole reason why we need ad-hoc party, the only other option is infrastructure, which is online play without a PS3's help. Yeah, I think you misunderstood the article. It said that games that are multiplayer but don't have infrastructure can trick the psp into thinking it's using ad-hoc, which technically it is, but the psp uses the ps3 to expand the distance required between two psp's from being three feet away, to being wherever in the world. That help?

But does every Ad Hoc game support Ad Hoc Party? Cause what the articles made it seem like is only certain Ad Hoc games supported it.

No, they said that games with ad-hoc mode than listed Gran Turismo, and soem others. It's possible with all ad-hoc games.

sigh my damn PS3 just got the YLOD and after i sent it to be repaired they fix the problem but they think my video card is messed up and be cheaper to buy a new/used one so no BBS multiplayer 4 me for a few weeks D: NOOOOOO~
