well that was never posted on the site but there were stories of an animated series going to be created and a movie! YES A MOVIE ON KINGDOM HEARTS!!!!!! This was stated by Square Enix itself because of the success and was posted on ffinsider.net!! That was like about 2-3yrs ago, just to sum that up! But now i guess its really going to happen, i know what ill be watching next year!!
a KH movie and tv show...YES YES YES!!!!!!....*cough**cough* *regains composier* yes umm cool...hey i just thought of something...i doubt it but could the sequal to KH2 (if there is one) BE the movie or show...kinda like advent children to FFVII?

uhhh....there was an article where disney denied kh series since they don't like the idea of goofy fighting. I don't think the series will see the light og day. man im bummed. i forgot the link, sorry but i could have sworn it was from www.gamespot.com
NO NO NO. Disney is going to screw this whole thing up. Disney sucks i can only see this movie being good if Square does most of the work.. damn it i hate t think what Disney would do with the KH series. i despise them.......... but i cant get to the link so can someone post a nother one if u can.????

AHHH...nno. Plz let this be wrong. The show would totaly ruin the game, cuz like it would make up dumb stuff about kh2. and id get way too confused. :S. i mean really. I sorta want the kh2 series to end as a video game ( kh2)

My guess is that the idea was shelved or postponed untill the release of KH II because I have heard nothing about it since. I'll let you guys take it from here.

This thread has no relevence because the information in the article is almost 2-3 years old. If you take a closer look at certain parts of the article you will see that this article is no longer plausible.

Disney Consumer Products president Andy Mooney announced at the recent GC2003 show in Germany that the sequel to Kingdom Hearts will debut at the Tokyo Game Show next month. So far, Square has said nothing official about the title, but there has been a lot of buzz about the reported sequel since the debut of the original Kingdom Hearts game.
Also, a pleasant surprise came with the announcement; Disney also stated that they had plans to create an animated television series based on the characters from the Kingdom Hearts series. No word yet where the series will be developed for - it could be Japan, the US or Europe, but there is a possibility the show could be made with a worldwide audience in mind.
Prepare for further details when Square gives its press release at the Tokyo Game Show, which runs from September 26-28."

2. The info and facts in this article are centered around events that happend in 2003.
3. You can tell that this article is even more inaccurate because of the fact that they said we would get more info about the cartoon series back in 2003 and I don't know if any of you can remember anything from TGS2k3 but there was absolutely no word on the KH series being developed.
4. And the date for the TGS is wrong. If it was for this year it would be Sept.16-17th or something to that exstent.
So as you see I pointed out some key details that make this article wrong and no longer plausible.
So pretty much this article is wrong. Insoulent, and NJMIgnatio are correct when they said that disney scraped the project. Your first clue of this should have been the silence and no talk from SE or Disney, especially after all of these years.

I guess if Disney allow it they'd probably want rules for Donald and Goofy in battle. Maybe Donald can only attack with magic and Goofy can only defend with his shield. Also it might be tricky for them to do. Sora, Riku, Kairi and the other KH/FF characters would be in an anime style yet the Disney characters would be in their own style like in the KH games. The think it it would seem the same onscreen as in the game.
Maybe they should have more Kingdom Hearts stuff at Disney world though, so far all I've heard is that Sora and KH Donald and Goofy appear in Halloween (A staff member at MGM studios told me). Maybe a KH ride or 3D show? Maybe put Sora in Fantasmic, I dunno

You all are aware of the fact that the article you just read was from 2003? And that they were talking about TGS04, and that the T.V show idea has probably bombed and will never happen?
but then again, doesn't disney own more of the game then square enix??? oph wait *reads 2003* oh yay i must have been canceled
