Playing as Rikku

What is the reason you play as Rikku for those who played the game?

first off it RIKU not RIKKU one K not two but anyway u use him in the final battle after sora gets captured by xenmas

Ok first if all it's Riku. Rikku is from FFX.
Well you play as Riku in the final fight against Xemnas, you must save Sora. It's only like 10 seconds of play though.
