PS3 Re:com problems

Has anyone else tried to play the NA Re:CoM on the PS3?
I get stuck in the first tutorial battle. The Donald card gets picked up before i can move and the battle wont progress.
Is this a common problem? Or is my PS3 crapping out?

I have it (First Run edition and loving it) and I haven't encountered a single problem :/ My PS3 is a 60GB. Just try doing it over.

Re:CoM is compatible with the PS3?
I thought there was only a certain number of games that are backwards compatible.

It just might be a problem with your disc or the PS3.
Try playing other games and see if you have the same problem.
If you do, then it's your PS3. If you don't, then it's yuor Re:CoM disc.

i have an 80gb and i play a bunchPs2 games on my ps3... all the other KH games in fact... must be my PS3.

Yeah try downloading the PS/PS2 Update by searching for Playstation in the Playstation Store.

um i just got a 80gb ps3 version
and im kinda not getting psn now so i cant kno until i get it working is the ps/ps2 update free and duz it work 4 all games

Oh yeah of course its free but with all honesty, I'm not sure what it does exactly, it was only a suggestion. I downloaded it in the past and I'm not having any problems, but my model is the 60GB which could make a difference.

Well what more do you want? I'm just stating the facts :/


I feel for you if it doesn't work, it truly is an amazing game. I would keep it and beg for a PS2 from a friend, just keep it if you get lucky with a PS2, or give it back and get a refund.

If you have a 80gb PS3 the only you can get pass the glitch is to find a file that has already been save after the tutorial, that's what I did and it has work fine afterwards

yea same here theres some glitch in the 80 gig model. thankfully i still have my ps2 so im just gonna get past the tutorial on it and go back to ps3. im hoping they can fix it somehow. im sure it will take a few weeks though.

maby since its a brand new game it meses up it may need and update (like the psp does on newer games).

Yep. I have had this same issue last night. And I already sold my PS2. :sad:
