each stage has a total of 150 baddies. kill all 150 and the time left over figures into your score, so you can get insane 400k scores and shit
melee kills give +5 seconds and time is precious so melee melee
there's also a trick to reload your weapon in the inventory while performing an action, combine the ammo with the gun while meleeing or jumping over something or zipline or whatever so you dont have to waste time there

Yeah, melee then reload in your inventory. It saves time, plus adds time.

But, what you should also do at first, is grab every single time. Then get a 7 hit combo, then grab a combo bonus.

Sometimes, I play Mercenaries with a friend offline. I can't play it online, because I do not have an online connection on my PS3.

Same thing happens for Versus.
Me and some friends played the Mine level and after a bit of killing they stopped showing up.
So we had to run around for 3-4 minutes with no one to kill.

I love it.
It doesn't bore me at all.
Relieves my stress and the challenge I like. Especially when you're paired up with an idiot as a partner it gets more challenging. Some might say that it sucks because you can't shoot and run, I don't mind that.
It can be a challenge depending on which network you're playing on.
