Rely, as in have a bevy of FF characters in the games. We've seen very few cameos since KH2 because KH doesn't need to have the cameos to sell the games.
He still has his Chakrams, so that wouldn't make sense to do.

I'll agree with those who said he'll most likely use it loosely and not so much like any of the other keyblade wielders. I see a lot of raids, upward and downward swings, and fire magic. He may resort to using his chakrams if he gets annoyed with having to use the keyblade anyways. I look forward to seeing how he uses it

I don't even know how to respond to your analogy.
He wasn't able to summon the keyblade until the very end though. He had planned on saving Sora with keyblade in hand, but he just wasn't quite up to par until afterwards.
Regardless, Keyblade + Chakrams seems pretty likely, I doubt Lea will stop using them.

Does this look like the age of 55 to you? This is how old she looked while Kairi was still 4 or 5 years old.
Well she aint 100 either, but that not the point. I don't think we will see axel pulling out the chakrahms anymore, but who knows since we wont officially see for 3 years anyway. But as we have seen the keyblade trumps all other weapons. Axel proclaimed he be able to master the weapon soon. To do so he gonna have to train and put all of himself into it and ween himself off his former weapons. Yeah his fighting style will change but so do most fighter as they evole and grow.

From the dialogue in DDD it was pretty apparent that he had summoned it while training with Merlin and just couldn't get the hang of summoning it seamlessly, hence his need to fall back on his chakrams.
Yeah if the battle was tommrow, I dont know how fast a study is, but he proably want to hone his skills so he won't need use chakrahms. Nothing would be funnier if axel coulndt get his keyblade out when he needed it during battle though

Joke aside, I think he'd do better using both his keyblade and chakrams in tandem. It'd be unique and still be true to his fighting style.
Well, he is just a computer generated character, so technically he can do whatever the designers program him to do....
We could break everything down as basic as that and end up with no discussion at all.
That's kind of what I'm getting at. Is there any point in trying to figure out what Axel's fighting style will be? The fact that Axel got a keyblade at the end of DDD pretty much solidifies the fact that nothing is off limits for characters in KH now. There's almost no way we can predict a majority of KH3 since there will undoubtedly be new plot devices introduced(ie. random characters gaining keyblades).
Isn't the point of the discussion to have fun speculating how he might fight now that his arsenal has changed?
I kind of have the feeling that aside of the 13 Seekers of Darkness we've seen most Keybearers that will be in KH3. I think the reason why Axel gained a keyblade was because story wise it's become somewhat impossible to travel between worlds without a keyblade, aside of the corridors of Darkness so, or the star shard and also that there would definitely be enough candidates for the 7 Guardians of Light.

There is definitely a point to it. Speculation is fun and so is being able to discuss the series with other people who are playing it as well.
Don't forget gummi ships are also a method of transport. The star shard was a "wild card" gummi piece. I can't imagine Lea using one, though. xD
