each time it happens I am on the verge of dieing.

Maybe that's what makes him turn into his dark form... you know sometimes in games characters get boosts when they have like 3 health points left? Maybe it's the same deal with dark mode?

Okay I just did it again, but this time I paused the game and cut on the VCR. And this is what I gathered:

Triangle: Not sure. Sorry.
Circle: Basic sqwirling and scratching attacks(Very fast and angry)
Square:Sora will fly around the screen looking for the enemy.
X: Basic four legged jump


-Also while in this mode Sora uses his drive meter, and when it runs out Sora turn back to normal.

-Also while in this mode Goofy and Donald dissapear.

-The pic of Sora on the right bottom corner changes to a Sora colored in all black and yellow eyes.

From what he's described to look like it is most likely a side effect of once being a heartless. The glowing yellow eyes...the completely black body.

I would like other opinions on this by the way

Yes, very similar to the Anti-Sora look.
But I noticed that there is still a small bit of design on Sora's pant legs,
it's a very faint gray design.
I would say he is 95% all black though.

The Dark/Heartless Form only occurs when Sora is hit by a Heartless when trying to activate the Drive sequence.
