Unsure about my colours...

I make poopy colours.

Tag is too high, but colors are fine. It just seems really empty to me :/

Colored version is best imo.

The colors are great; you just aren't balancing them out very well, so the boring version has the better focal.

I agree with you on that one. Somewhere along the line my colours just went so out of place from what they originally were, they started to look artificial. D:

Its one of those, tilt your head left, then right moments because these color scheme he used is depicted in more tropius schemes. Something in those offset films where you have that underground cavern with those colors used.

Gotta say your monochrome does top this, its manly the adjusting and utilization of the colors. Not bad, but they could be stronger and guided in the right spots.
