My grandma noticed that Namine sounds like the Latin word for name, nomina. I know, it's wierd that my grandma noticed it, but still, what do you guys think?
Namine - Nami means 'wave' in Japanese. It's to show her relation to Kairi whose name means 'ocean, sea'.
Namine... le sigh. What can I say about her that I haven't said yet? I adore the girl
She's one of the best and finest characters in the KH universe imo and it was refreshing to see they could actually do something worthwhile with a girl after being frustrated and disappointed with Kairi in KH1.
Despite it being fake, I adore her relationship with Sora, in part because we actually get to see them confront the fact it was all made up, and how they deal with it. Sora, imo, doesn't need someone as forceful and dare I say 'loud' like Kairi. Neither does Riku. They're both strong enough on their own right and especially together for there to be a need for someone to boss them around and mock them.
It was sweet how Namine learned to believe in the both of them and did her very best in her own way to support them.
They make an adorable threesome and I so wish she'd have gotten to really be friends with the both of them like in the Memories she created.
I'm so so very eternally grateful it seems we'll get to see more of her, both with Sora not picking up on his promise to thank her and Nomura saying to take that as a hint for the future, as well as Castle Oblivion probably going up in importance- and we all know the current day character with seemingly most relations to that place

Who knows, maybe what Xemnas wanted the most was
for Namine to awaken Ven inside Sora, seeing how
CO has the Room of Awakening, if I remember correctly
So yes. Much, much love at Namine and almost everything that goes along with her <3<3<3
...aside from being Kairi's Nobody.
Because the plot would've went just as smoothly without that plot bit (tying the Memory manipulation more to the Castle and later on the Pod Sora slept in rather than a connection between her and Sora, saying she's another special Princess or what not of Light or even Darkness... heck, she could've beent the Lady of the Lake and Sora's Keyblade would've been sort of like Excalibur), and would've made a lot more sense seeing how when and how she was created is one of the most flawed bits of plot in the KH-verse (yes, she's a Nobody despite both Sora and Kairi's Body-Soul parts not being used to create her! LOL!)
I mean, seriously. Call her just about anything else, really describe her as a 'shadow', say she was created when Kairi was thrown off Radiant Garden or something.
I still don't understand what they were thinking.
But enough of that.
There's Namine and possible SoNami up ahead <3<3<3 concentrate on the love, not on the hate I say (when I can)
