Thou art correct, sah, and truly my equal on this ground we stand upon. May the Light shine upon thee always..unless ye be a Friend of the Dark..
Raistlin Majere is my personal favorite Dragonlance character, to the end. Then there's Dalamar...
More or less, Giras has ambitions and is similar to the Master of Past and Present.
Then again, Ralon'quel is really Raistlin put in a mixing cauldron with a little Lews Therin, and maybe something of Feanor from the Simarillion.
He's also the same character I use in my local Dungeons and Dragons game on Sundays from 1pm-5pm. Oddly enough, everything that's happened to my character on a somewhat large scale (and in reference from the DM's old games he's played) has actually, or will happen to poor Elf-Boy in my personal writings. And no, I never expected it to happen in the DnD game, nor took it from there. It just happened, and my character went from being an elf to a vampire and then being reincarnated as a dark elf (or drow). A sad story, BUT I GOT MY FLOATING LONGBOAT! =D
You're welcome to see it at your leisure, but I'll have to say it was half-prepared and the lower half-written after pasting it into the post.
