In a about year and a half I'll be getting the chance to get my very own car!
I just don't know what is the best car out there!

So I want to ask you drivers out there...What is the best car out there for a new driver?
These are the requirements:
1. It has to be a Ford or Honda
2. All wheel drive
3. Stability Control
4. 5-star rating
5. Auto Transition
6. Full curtain air bags
7. Must not be extremely expensive
8. 5 people seating
9. A very easy to control stick shift
and finally
10. It must be a good car for a somewhat rocky environment and wide roads

Please help! Your opinions mean a lot!

1. It has to be a Ford or Honda
Personally i would go with a Honda but ford been stepping up their game.
2. All wheel drive
I cant think of either make with a All wheel drive model so you dont have to worry unless you get a suv
3. Stability Control
.......
4. 5-star rating
.....
5. Auto Transition
do you mean do you mean transmission? if so they are easier to drive but i find manuals fun
6. Full curtain air bags
air bags are air bags i guess.
7. Must not be extremely expensive
depends on what you mean by expensive.... you should be able to find either one for a decent price used.... i wouldnt suggest a new car for a new driver.
8. 5 people seating
unless you are driving a seat convertible in this case a Mustang, GT, or an S2000... most care can fit at least 5 people
9. A very easy to control stick shift
and finally
10. It must be a good car for a somewhat rocky environment and wide roads
ever stick i used felt kinda different so that up to you. before you drive sit in the drive seat and see how you like it.

Browse around you might see something that stands out to you.

also

how much do you plan on spending
what type of car do you want? (suv, coope, wagon, sedan, hatchback, ect.)
what year?

Srs?
Get the cheapest car you can, actually.
You're a new driver so you might crash more easily than the experienced driver.
