I don't see why not. It's still KH. Whether it has a 'darker tone' or not, there will be plenty of comic relief. I'd like for V, A, or T to just run into him as he's doing crunches. XD

I know it's ten years before, but I don't want them to maket he circumstances to similar to what happened in the FFVII universe. Maybe he could just have that other sword that he started out with in CC.

nah he shouldnt mention anything about SOLDIER. He might have a different Backstory.
well cloud doesnt have to use the Buster sword....he could just use the First Tsurugi and Zack can have The Buster sword.

That's the beauty of it, Ren. KH =/= FF. It's not the same guy at all, just a copy, really. They have so many possibilities. So one doesn't need to worry about about those trivial things. KH Zack probably wouldn't know any... I don't know how to use spoiler boxes, but you know who I'm talking about.

Meeh. That makes me iffy. Then Zack wouldn't be Zack, and thus I am strongly inclined to keep him out of KH. I value his original backstory too much.

I beg to differ, but I don't care too much about them in KH. XDD
KH has never ruined my opinion of the characters from their original games, but it did manage to butcher some of them in the game itself.
And that whole thing with Tifa and being Cloud's light was ridiculous.

I already mentioned Cloud and Sephiroth. Ren brought up a good point about Tifa, but I don't find her, as a character, to be ruined. I never played FFIX or VI, so I can't judge Setzer and Vivi, but I'll take everyone's word for it. Raijin and Fuujin, eh, they're not important anyway. They never had too much character development to begin with. KHII did not ruin YRP, FFX-2 ruined YRP. Paine started out ruined, lol.

I guess it depends on how strongly one feels about the virtue of an FF character.

I'm may just be prejudiced against Tifa. Not to mention that entire scene was BS. I seriously wtf'ed when Cloud and Sephiroth flew into the air. =/
I'm suddenly reminded of a certain movie starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.
I guess I didn't like the idea that Tifa looked like an annoying, stalking maniac.

I'm going to stop here because I'm pretty sure no one wants to hear me pick out the flaws that I claim to not really care about. XDD

Here's my gripe. Cid's va, wtf? I realize that it was the same guy from AC, but he sounds awful. I was so excited to hear Cid had a new va in KH II and when I heard it, I was almost knocked out of my seat. That's not Cid at all.

Cid Highwind in Kingdom Hearts is an old man while the one in Ff7 is more younger =P

He's a lot younger,and he has a spirit for the skies. In KH, he's just a grumpy old computer guy. (I'm realizing more and more how wrong I was last night by saying that FF characters aren't ruined in KH).
