It seems that you posted on your own profile. To reply to someone's VM, click on the View Conversation link to the right and post there instead. That way, the other person will be notified of your reply.

Also, you have to be more specific. Which sites are you referring to? Generally, if you think an article is dubious or doesn't provide links to trusted sources, you should refrain from posting them.
