Honestly, the only ones who've shown extensive legitimate emotion are the Special Nobodies (Nami, Roxas, Xemnas, Xion).
The others, not really.

I wouldn't say that. We have no idea how much darkness was in any of their hearts. Besides, we can't exactly call the apprentices completely evil. They were scientists, doing what they thought was best.

Well if Xehanort had enough darkness to have a human like heartless, and if the apprentices worked close with eachother it's not crazy for them to be the same. And I agree that darkness doesn't equal evil generally, but it does equal it on a more personal level.

They worked closely together. That doesn't mean that they all had the same goal. After all, Xehanort was probably planning an overthrow or something.

On a more personal level? Darkness doesn't equal evil, personal or otherwise. Now, people with darkness are more likely to be evil, but that doesn't necessarily say much. Riku's never been truly evil, even with all of the darkness he had.

Yeah but it represents negative qualities like shame, jealousy, guilt, etc...that cloud your judgement.

Yes, but those qualities are not necessarily evil. They're not necessarily bad.

Yeah but they're not liked nor welcome, at least by the sane. Translating to personal evil, inner demons, negative qualities.

Obviously they're not well-liked, as seen by Sora's vehement need to destroy all things darkness, excluding Riku.

However, they're not well-understood, which is part of why they're feared, which is mainly what Mickey said in KH2.

When did Sora have a Human form Heartless?

Basically after he lost his Heart.

He was merely a heart until he fused back with Roxas in KH2.

Um, right after he turned into a Heartless, Kairi hugged him and purified the darkness in his heart, turning his form from that of a Shadow Heartless to his normal form.

You didn't think he was whole, did you? Roxas already has his body and soul at this point. He's just an existence of a heart for the duration of the end of KH1 and CoM.

That was after Kairi's magical hug. He was still technically a heartless? That doesn't really make any sense, but ok...I'll roll with it.

It makes perfect sense (as much sense as KH makes sense).

Roxas had Sora's body. Kairi hugged Sora's Heart, which was immersed in darkness and had become a Shadow Heartless. By hugging him, she purified the darkness within his heart, and he obtained his original form.

But he's still only a heart, because Roxas has his body.
