Well nobody thought it actually might be cause he fights with rifles and it's easier to aim? Also Nick Fury (from Marvel Universe) and he's "the guy with the guns"
But last time i checked, Nobodies cant remember their past, well mayb its just instinct or force of habit.
Actually memories are the most important things to the Nobodies - Roxas is special so he doesn't have Sora's memories.
No, its the fact that they can remember their past that makes them special.
If you remember in KH2 somebody said something along the lines of (sorry I cant remember who):
"while we have no hearts, we remember what it feels like to have one and we know all too well how to destroy one"

HA HA HA well how about this idea what if Braig accidentally shoot himself in the eye and gave himself the scar. I mean his weapon could have backfired and stuff and he lost the eye and got the scar. But if that is not the case then he just did it to have a better aim since you have to keep one eye shut while shooting. Maybe Braig got the scar from an unversed!?!?!?!

Well about his weapon malfuctioning.... if that were true, then 1) That's quite pathetic, and 2) that would be the biggest "F U" to all the other, more plausible theories, no offense.
What if Terra did the same thing that chick did to that eyepatch-wearing chick in Kill Bill. They crossed swords and the chick just jabbed the other chick's eye out. That would be cool if that happened.
The most plausible reason for me would be a Ven/Braig fight

Lol but seriousely though, Braig have his eye bashed (or some thing) out seems more like a Terra, MX, or Vanitas thing to me.
Even with that Days scene with Ven he doesn't seem like the type that would mess up some ones face like that. That is, unless Braig did some thing to really really piss him off.

To all you people who keep saying, "He keeps the eyepatch on so he can aim better" - have none of you ever seen Pocahontas? xD Blinding one eye makes it much harder to accurately gauge distances, so wearing an unnecessary eyepatch would put Xigbar at a disadvantage.
I do think it's unlikely that he'd actually get stabbed in the eye, though, because that'd be really hard to get across without causing ratings troubles. Maybe he takes a hit from one of his own bolts reflected back at him, or the eye is mostly blinded by excessive light (and he covers it up because it's more trouble than it's worth) or something.

Xigbar putting an eyepatch so that he can aim better is pretty funny, imagine in the real world, people do that in training for the shooting events in sports and they all wear eyepatches.
