Which anime soundtrack left the biggest impact on you after watching the show?

For me it was Mai-Hime, so many powerful tracks, Yuki Kajiura is a genious!:thumbup:

Oh, definitely the Death Note soundtrack. (Mainly the songs composed by Hideki Taniuchi)

Baccano! soundtrack is sex, Samurai Champloo soundtrack is masterful, and practically every Hayao Miyazaki anime film soundtracks, specifically the ones Joe Hisashi is composing for. ^_^

Oh, I'd forgotten about the DN OST. That one's great too. Light's Theme, L's Theme, and the Death Note theme ftw.

I like the CG OST, but...it never came out as being particularly special to me. I mean, there are tracks of epic win like "Zero", "Black Knights", "Innocent Days", but...the OST as a whole didn't really "jump out at me" like some other animes' did.

Likewise.

There weren't alot of awesome tracks in that OST, just some great ones. Same goes for the Kaiji OST: 'Wish', 'Line of Light', 'Kaiji theme', 'Espoir', and 'Green' were the only good ones.

Also, the Big O OST is epic.

Ohh it's definately Wolf's Rain. Apart from the opening and ending themes, the music for that is amazing.

I probably like the soundtrack from Bleach the most.

But Noir OST is also really good..

There are a bunch of soundtracks that are just awesome:

Naruto Shippuuden (VASTLY improved over the original)
Full Metal Alchemist ("Brothers" is unforgettable!)
Samurai 7 (It just has that certain "feel" to it)
Heat Guy J (The perfect OST to an excellent "Cop" anime)
.Hack//Sign (Nothing more needs to be said, lol)

However, there is one OST that sticks out to me as as the most epic soundtrack:

Last Exile! Seriously, the show itself was perfect, and the music was no less awesome! They fit the retro-futuristic theme of the show, and sound unbelievable in the process!
