By bar thing do you mean the "Focus" thing?
It's basically like the Drive Gauge
Only different because you don't transform
I believe it just helps you unleash more powerful attacks (Right?)
And the game play really isn't that different.
It's like KH1 with a different version of a Drive Gauge from KH2 and Reaction Commands
Just not frequent Reaction Commands
I don't see too much of a difference
That's why I like the game play so much from what I've seen

The only different things are move sets
Because each character has their own style of fighting
The only one who resembles the "Sora way" will probably be Ven.
Although Aqua resembles the "Final Form" way.

Well, isn't that the same deal as in 358/2 Days?
Anyway, I think you'll have to press L & R simultaneously in order to do lock-on.
Although, I do admit that the missing L and R buttons is kind of a let down
'Cuz now there won't be a shortcut menu for items/magic
But still, even though that's not in it
And lock-on will probably be executed differently
The game play still looks very good

You still have four other buttons; the arrow keys. I'm thinking, if you hold down a certain button, say circle, then you could access shortcut and the shortcuts could be the arrow keys.

Oh yeah. I completely forgot about that.
Hmmm, if they do that
Than I see nothing wrong with the game play
Hopefully they won't add in something awful
And give you God Mod attacks that kill regular enemies in one/two hits

Why would the arrow keys be used for moving?
They never were (except the Nintendo games)
It's always the analog stick
So the arrow keys would be for the command menu
Therefore, there are four extra buttons.
I'm thinking that we might actually get
Where you can use the arrow keys with certain buttons
in the Battle Menu, and execute certain attacks.
Now that would be awesome.
I can't remember if they did that already, though.

I don't see a problem with the game play so far.

Because it's that the gameplay is so fast that none of the enemies have a chance to do any real damage.

Basically good gameplay with easy difficulty equal fail.
Vice-versa bad gameplay with hard difficulty also is a fail.

Balanced out where it's all good then you have KH1.
