Eh, forget them tell them it's anime not porn, and if they don't listen just say, "I know that it's not porn and if want to think that, you can go right ahead, it will just be wrong."

Besides guys can be immature and childish. It takes them a while for them to grow up. Trust me, I'm a guy, I know...

Sounds like those boys are really immature. What are they six: "Oh my gosh! She looks at naky people!" What kind of noob calls hentai anime-porn? My advice is just ignore them, like most people told you. Or, if you can do it [[you said you were quiet right?]], tell them that they're immature little kids, not at all on your level.

Oh.. and no matter what you tell them about anime NOT being porn, they're not going to listen. Most idiots like that think they're right about everything.

Anywho, my advice to you is to just ignore all those immature boys who think they're "oh so right" 100% time when it's .10% of the time. ;D Anime may seem porn to guys because it looks that way at first and the fact they haven't seen the other side of anime is the fact they're prone ot think that way. They are just trying to pick on you to feel better because they're soooooooo stupid.......and they are different when it comes to anime. And they just don't know any better. Ignore them or say sarcastically, "Yeah I watch anime. And what about you, do you watch PORN? Considering how much you know about it." Hope this works!:thumbsup:

I've never had people my own age acuse anime of anything (seeing as I'm homeschooled >.<) but adults have said some pretty nasty things about anime. In front of me no less... even though by nature I'm a quiet, shy person... I spoke up and tried to correct them. Sometimes you can open up peoples eyes by just explaining and giving good examples of the things you're trying to explain. But most of the time people are just set in their ways. Those are the types you've no choice but to ignore... because trying to explain something to them is like trying to explain something to a brick wall ( the brick wall would be more intelligent though! jk lol ^.^).

Anyway... uh, I hope that made some bit of sense?

As long as you have your own group of friends and you don't really let what they say get to you, it doesn't really matter. Highschool doesn't really mean anything anyways.

unfortunately anime is often associated with porn. but honestly if they want to think that way then the only step is to ignore them or join in a bigger group of friends that likes anime so they bother you less. but sometimes people are just like that and we just have to deal with it as unfortunate as it is. but yeah if that fails as Stavros said you could just use your Bankai on them xD

i had a problem like this to a couple of kids i hang out withe thought the same things so i showed them anime but in your cases just show them a sample of manga or somthen and prove to them that most anime is not porn YA!!!! ( they have a littel bit of a point my one friend ashowed me like 30 things on anime porn then i slaped him in the head :lol: )

Seriously I wouldn't worry too much about what a couple guys think about anime. First of all, they watch a buttload of porn. I can tell you that. No guy doesn't . They really can't judge.

Secondly. It's not like they know what they're talking about.

Yes, most Anime is really perverted.

If it's not then it's been American'd down. That's the Japanese culture. Everything boils down to sex.
