Iron Chef Competiton

I’m pretty sure this goes here....

Any who need some opinions, suggestions, advice?

I’m entering an Iron Chef Competition, Here at NMSU

The secret ingredient, which they have now gave us is Potatoes, We cannot make Mash, Fries, or Baked Potatoes.

This is what we are most likely going to make.

Appetizer-
Double Baked Potato Soup - A fun simple recipe to make as well as very tasty
Spinach Salad- This contains Spinach, sliced up strawberries, a Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing Toped with Pecans

Entry-
Nuke- potato pasta, with butter lime sauce, and topped with meat balls, or sausage. (Which do you think would taste better?)

And for Dessert-
Potato Candy- Not really potatoes at all its sweet cream chess, and sugar, and a lot of little pieces of goodness.

To top that, I’m going to experiment this week, and grade a potato, and make it sweet by caramelizing it. This will be Brown Sugar, Butter, an Orange, and lemon Juice.

So what do you all think?

What kind of competition tells you you can't cook these items? If you can find an inventive way to make fries awesome, then that should be allowed.
