I wouldn't be surprised if we saw the Grandma, fairy tale scene again, but this time retconned with Aqua listening in. I'm calling it first.

the only reason I hate the speech bubbles is that I don't get to hear what the character sounds like in that moment. the only exception to this would be if all of Xehanort's lines by Epcar were replaced with speech bubbles, then I'd be the happiest KH fan ever:lol:

I believe Kairi's grandma will play a role, if Kairi plays a big enough role in the game... which she is likely to do.

It's still a type of retcon, and yeah, that was similar to how i imagined it.

the speech bars are only in the other handheld KH games, which are CoM, 358/2 days, and Coded. BBS actually does have speech bubbles, which are seen in a Castle of Dreams demo.

as I said before, there's a demo for Castle of Dremas where Ven speaks with Jaq, and it's all just speech bubbles.

kairi was from Radient Garden and she was moved to Destiny Islands

Of course she was. Kairi is originally from Radiant Garden, not Destiny Islands. And Sora even said the words "Your grandma's story," to Kairi.
