Has it been outright stated? Maybe not, but you realize that both Ansem AND Nomura putting a huge importance on the fact that Xehanort -could- (Not to mention the flashbacks in KH1 showing Riku being able to see the Keyhole also implying this) would make it pretty clear to be the case.heartseams, this is all going by the assumption that only keyblade wielders can open the door, but when has that been confirmed?
If one needs the ability to wield the Keyblade to find the Keyhole, which is how one can even hope to open the door, logically, that would mean you need the ability to open it. It's not that hard to deduce.
A door leading to the source of life for that entire world sure sounds special to me.i know you want to butter it up to make the doors that more special, but they aren't.
Pretty sure it's more then that. Xehanort says that, even when they find the door, it takes a long time for them to do anything about it.It takes a while because heartless go only by instinct.
Yes... and opening a World's Door is tied to the Keyblade.but other abilities that aren't keyblade related aren't exclusive to keyblade wielders
The result is not the same though. Losing the ability means you lose everything associated with it. Riku having the ability is what led him to be able to find DI's Keyhole. If he had somehow lost that ability before KH1, he wouldn't have been able to find the Keyhole and wouldn't have been able to open the door.but the result is the some
Ansem makes it pretty clear that opening the door to a World's Heart IS something special.
lol, he was standing in the caves, NEAR the door. Not through it.no, i was referring to DI, he was talking to sora through the door. either that or it was too dark to see where exactly he was.
XH wasn't technically a Heartless either. He never transformed into one, as he says plainly. Sora during CoM and XH are of a remarkably similar entity.and i miswrote that one scene...i meant to say because sora isn't technically aheartless, he was able to be a floating heart. therefore roxas could wield one because sora was still able to.
Plus, it's already been said that Roxas could wield simply because he was Sora's Nobody.
I think you misinterpreted what I said. What I said was that Nomura has said there is more qualification to wielding a Keyblade than having a strong heart and the Rite of Succession.also i don't remember nomura ever confirming that either
Look again, it's fake every time before his Awakening (that was the whole -point- of the Awakening)as for the fake keyblade, i only remember him using it once, which was to defeat the lesser nobodies who were stealing the photos. but other than that time, i'm sure he summoned the real thing before his destati.
