Re: KHI Book club - What are you currently reading?
I'm at part 3 of Battle Royale right meow.
I could probably talk for 2 hours now just from what I know about Hunger Games and this book... I've been too anxious about my next con for me to read though crycrycry. They're incredibly similar but at the same time I'm able to enjoy them because they are still incredibly different...
That doesn't make sense, but while the premise and message is somewhat the same, the situations are different, the settings, the culture, the time period, the characters, how it's written, the authors themselves, the written tenses, how it's told, etc.etc.etc.
Still like BR more though. It doesn't hold itself back like I kind of felt HG did sometimes.
o3o that's one of my favorite books.Right now I'm reading One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. I love the concept, and I'm excited to keep reading it.
