Well...if you want a serious answer, Merlin also said that Pooh's storybook was a special relic of Radiant Garden. So I guess it would be the equivalent of discovering the Dead Sea Scrolls, or something like that. Not that Leon had any personal attachment to it, it just had a special place in the heart of Radiant Garden, and as head of the Restoration Committee, he should be the first to know such things.

I believe Merlin says after it when Sora gains the Chicken Little that the book is one of the world's cherrished posessions, thenhe goes "Now sora the book isnt the only thing that's cherrished!" then you gain Chicken Little...

So why did Merlin say to Sora in Kh2, "Yeah but don't tell Leon that I got the book (Winne the pooh book), i what it to be a surprise"

Ummm, what...? What is with the winne the pooh book and leon? What connection do they share?!?!?

Sadly, I'm being serious so what is up with Leon and Winne the Pooh?

Probably that Leon likes the story when he was young and Merlin wanted to surprise him.

He wanted to tell him because it's kind of important that he found a book with it's own Keyhole (heart). It's a rather significant item with living, breathing creatures in it.

If Leon has a soft side, this isn't the first time he shows it...

In KH1, at the end of Traverse Town first visit, before you leave, go over to the table and chairs area, where Leon and them are standing and talking. They are talking about the seperated Dalmation puppies, and Leon seems really saddened by this (As this is Leon, he doesn't show it as much, but when Aerith or Yuffie says about it (Can't remember which), Leon is like "Yeah..." and puts his hand on his forehead like he usually does.)

Of course, I only did this once, and it was quite a while ago, so I may have imagined it or something. XD
If anybody else has done this, please tell me.
