Bringing this over from another forum since you guys seem more experienced and knowledgeable about vidya games -
So yeah; seeing Suzuki playing Warriorcats reminded me of the old days in the late 90s playing my own rpg. I remember it was really fun and/or addicting; so much so that I used my hour lunch break for school in the Philippines for playing it. I want to see if it's still around and play it again~ You're gonna need some details to help whittle down the thousands out there.
As already mentioned in the other forum:
- 2D
- Computer-based (Windows 95 or 98, as this was the 90s)
- Medieval or Middle Ages-based, y'know, knights, kings, and princesses, as well as some archers, thieves, magicians, and thieves tagging along
- Bird's eye-view: camera looks at the top of the head, but somewhat at an angle so you can see the characters' faces
- Offline
- Pixels~ like Warcraft but different styled
- Big head character design, but not too big. Similar to what you see in egoboo.
- It may have been downloaded from download.com or some other free download site and not bought. It was the early days of computer rpgs~ some of the best story and mechanics came up 'round these times so even free games were good ._.
- Battle screen; battles are not like in Diablo where you fight enemies right on the map or terrain, but rather like Pokemon or the Final Fantasies before XII
Games it is not:
Warcraft
egoboo
Ultima Online
Meridian 59
Nexus: The Kingdom of the Winds
Tibia
Lineage
Mir 2
Endless online
Diablo
Age of Empires
Star Craft
Doom
Might and Magic
Games it could be:
Something made using a version or form of RPG Maker
