Story
​

20 years after the execution of the infamous Monkey D. Luffy and his Strawhat crew, the spot for the title “King of the Pirates” was up for grabs. Many rookie pirates set out with their band of misfits to travel to world in hopes of achieving that title, nearly all of them have failed. In order to prevent another age of Piracy from emerging, the World Government cracked down on any potential pirates to be, and imprisoned many.

Now, of course piracy is in everyone hearts, everyone strives to become a ‘scurvy dog’, so naturally pirates are tenacious at best. They won’t go down so easily, this is your tale on how you will endure the World Government, and other pirates to become the next great Pirate King/Queen.

Rules

• · No God-modding or Power-playing
• · No canon characters whatsoever, the Strawhats have been killed off and presumably other characters from the series. Children of canons will be accepted but must contact me or Beastly.
• · Romances are allowed, but as always keep it PG-13.
• · Avoid editing your templates after the RP has started, granted you will grow stronger but editing it every time becomes a hassle for others.
• · No Machine-Gun posting, it is annoying to have to read 3 pages of short posts.
• · Mentioned above, at least 2 paragraphs will be required per post. (4 sentences x 2 = 8 not that hard)
• · Bounties: All pirates, excluding the Shichibukai, will not have beginning bounties. They will be set by the Admirals, so every time you commit a horrendous act your bounties will go up.
• · Literacy is needed, granted I don’t expect college level writing but make sure people can read it.
• · Put at the top of your template ‘OMG a One Piece RP?’
• · Above all, have fun.
• Multiple roles are allowed and encouraged, don't take on more than you can handle however.

Shichibukai

Shichibukai are powerful Pirate, former or not, captains that have allied with the World Government. They fulfill orders from the Government, but some may defy that. Shichibukai respond quickly to orders from the Government and are very powerful, some Shichibukai were former pirates with bounties over 300,000,000 beli. There are only four of them.


Marine Admiral

The title for a senior command rank in the Marines. They are responsible for high military actions, and are currently the 2nd highest rank underneath a Fleet Admiral. Due to their ranks, naturally, they are extremely powerful and they are generally taller than the average human.

Pirates

And here we go pirates. Whether they are the blood thirsty, eye-patch wearing, rum drinking savages depicted in a lovely manner by Disney, or the good-natured easy going pirates we all know and love. They are the main ‘protagonist’ of this here tale. Pirates, whether they are captain or crew member, are not neutral whatsoever.

Devil Fruits

Since I want this to be a little more original all canon Devil Fruits will not be available. This is to stress the fact that there is only one of each kind of Devil Fruit, so they are allowed just be original. And if you are having difficulty figuring out which Devil Fruit is original please visit this site : ABSOLUTELY ONE PIECE - List of Devil Fruits, yes it is difficult to read I apologize.



Types of Devil Fruit



Paramecia – The users of this type of Devil Fruit gain super-human abilities, or alter features of their bodies or the environment, or they can manipulate or generate some kind of substance. Basically they can change their bodies like their bodies become rubber, or they can make their bodies slippery they can split their bodies into separate parts, stuff like that. This is the weakest of the fruits because they expose their abilities really fast and they become predictable.

Zoan- Basically they are able to transform into an animal of sorts. They can be mythological, real, or even ancient. Since there are limits to this made-up animals are allowed but, of course, they need to be cleared.

Logia- This is an elemental type fruit, the users are allowed to manipulate and transform themselves into an element. They can regenerate every part of their bodies because of this. Once again, there are limits so Final Fantasy style elements will be allowed.

All Devil Fruit users lose the ability to swim and they will sink when submerged in water, they are also weakened when submerged slightly in heavy water, like a bath. Also clothing will be unaffected by your Devil Fruit, so if you can generate fire your clothes will not burn out, that would be awkward.



The World of One Piece



Ok, so there are four main seas of the world, the North, South, East, and West Blue. And there are two main oceans; the oceans are split by the Red line, a large continent that goes around the world from North to South.

Ship- (Your pirate ship, what is its name and what it looks like?)
Rank – (Um, not exactly First Mate, though that is accepted, stuff but like are you the Cook, Shipwright, Doctor. Things like that)
History – (Tear-jerker or comedy, your choice. For Captains you don’t have to include things like your Pirate Crew, especially if you are the first Captain to join.)

Marine Admiral –

Alias- Silver Diamond

Personality – Jackson Rubio comes off as cocky but is really nice once you get past his arrogant exterior. He is usually very competitive with other pirates and loves playing games. Although he is cocky, he will always put his friends and crew first. During batle he likes to taunt his opponent.

Abilities –
Soru: Able to run at extremely high speeds in order to avoid attacks or attack others at high speeds.
Kami-e: makes the users' body go limp in order to avoid any attacks, and float like a piece of paper.
Geppou: allows the users to actually jumps off the air itself, allowing them to stay in the air for much longer than usual.
Rankyaku: a projectile technique, in which the users kicks out at very high speeds and strength, sending out a sharp "air blade" that can slice objects and greatly damage a human body.
Tekkai: hardens the users' muscles to the level of iron, in order to nullify damage taken from attacks.

Devil Fruit – Kuroyuri

Type of Devil Fruit – Paramecia

Devil Fruit Ability - Allows the user to remove pieces from his skin and shoot them out like sharp flower petals. Its weakness is if used multiple times the user can remove all their skin and die.

History – Born in a small village near the west blue, Jackson Rubio loved pirates, and pirate stories. Ever since he was a child his mother would tell him about the adventures pirates had and the dangerous quests they went on. Even about the infamous Monkey D. Luffy and how he became the King of Pirates. One day though, Jackson's mother was taken away by a Shichibukai following orders form the World government to erase all existance of pirates. Jackson hid in a small hole in the ground covered by a tile and narrowly escaped being taken away. He then went off at the age of 7 and joined a man named, Suzu's pirate crew. Learning all he could from Suzu, he finally asked if they could go in search of his mother and Suzu holding a special place in his heart for Jackson agreed and they were off.

They found his mother barely living in one of the prisions and they set her free. As they were making their escape, the shichibukai intercepted them and engaged in battle with Suzu. Jackson watching Suzu fight tried to join in but was told to leave with his mother on Suzu's pirate ship. Jackson unable to not obey his captains orders ran off and sailed away on Suzu's ship unsure of the outcome.

His mother came back to regular health and Jackson decided to start a crew of his own. He left Suzu's ship and left his mother in charge as captain.

Unfortunately I am not gaining any popularity with this, though this is only the first day this has been up I'm a little worried. In order to start I need at least 4 pirate crews, with at least 3 members, and the Admiral and Shichibukai spots filled ^^

Gender- Male
Personality – He is a very calm person. He is kind to ladies and is very smart. He jokes around so that things aren't that serious in the Ship. But when It comes to it He can fight seriously and goes all out when he does his father's signiture movement ( tieing the Bandana on his head). He loves to play music. He enjoys it and thinks it bring everyone together.
Appearance- He looks a bit like his father but with Brown hair. He wears a double layered shirt. He wears black jeans. He wears his Father's bandana but around his neck instead of his head.
Place of Origin – He was born in the East Blue
Weapons/Items – He carries one sword that his father gave him and another sworde he made himself. THe sword he made has an egal desing on the handel and the sword is a bit longer then the other sword he owns. It is made from a very strong Steel but it isn't indestructible.
Abilities – He is very agile and knows his stuff. He can figure an enemies weakness by watching his movements.
Devil Fruit – Ari Ari Fruit.
Type of Devil Fruit – Logia
Devil Fruit Ability - This Devil fruit gives the ability of wind to a user. He can make tornado's in his hands. He can jump high and float. He can't sofficate people. He is weak against Steam and Earth type elements.
