To an extent. Some of us were being silly. But Marluxia was originally going to be a woman, and if you look at him in CoM (GBA) you'll notice he looked somewhat... feminine.

Unless you pronounce it Ludo with a silent r but, that would make even less sense.

Anyway, Luxord's name is not Ludor, not officially. It could be Dulor, Durlo, Ludor.... etc.... because there are many ways it can be rearranged.
