Anyways, me and my mum made a deal, where if I keep the deal, I would get a pentablet at christmas time.

Anyways, this deal won't be extremely hard to keep, but I need advice about it. I don't know what model or make (or anything) to get.

I know I would use it for digital drawing, and and stuff of the like.

I need it to be:

A: Durable
B: somewhere less than 160-150$
(most important 2)

I'd rather have an idea of which one I want to get at christmas, rather than having her pull a random one off the internet. You know?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :3 Thanks in advance.

Get a Wacom Bamboo or Wacom Intuos. Don't get anything other than a Wacom product, they are the best brand at pen tablets.

The only differences between the Bamboo and Intuos are the price, size, pressure-sensitivity, features, and compatibility with professional pens I suppose.

I have a Cintiq for my artwork and a Bamboo for note-taking in class.

This, this, this. I've been using Intuos tablets for over six years and have no complaints.

I've never gone out of my way to test their durability, but I usually shove my tablet in my backpack with my laptop, which has never caused problems. A friend of a friend spilled beer on my first one (an Intuos2) less than a month after I got it, but it wasn't affected at all. And if you do have an issue, the global warranty is very handy.

Bamboo would probably fall better into your price range than Intuos.

Ooooh this is total yay. <3 Hopefully, the bamboo is the same way. (DOGENZAKA!)

Yea, but now there's 4 different models to look at. ;___;

I don't want to pick the wrong model or anything here. Should I just go with the standard Bamboo tablet? (I LOVE the sound of the size of the Fun one, but that's the only one that's outside of my price range. ;_____;)

(yes, triple posting, sue me)

I've decided I'm getting the bamboo fun. (I told my mum I would forget b-day presents, if so) So yea. Thank you a lot for all your... advice and help. :| Anything else I may need to know about Pentablets, PM me, dammit.
