Pronouncing Namine

I just saw the interview with Brittney Snow.
She pronounced Namine's name
Nam-in-ae.
For me, I've been thinking it was
Nam-een.
How did and/or do you personally pronounce Namine?

That's weird, cuz me and all my friends just called her Namine.
You know, like Josaphine, Gethsemanie, caffiene, Christine, citrine, cuisine, Francine, Janine, machine, marine, ravine, routine, saline, vaccine. (Yeah so I used a rhyming dictionary so what)
