"I agree. It's rare that anyone will give you free money and I desperately need it right now." Devin replied to Sakura.
Devin fell silent when the scientists began to speak. They were talking about the experiment called Genesis that all of them were going to be taking part in. Devin listened silently throughout the explanation, when the packet was laid down in front of him he began paging through it. Looking confused he looked over at Sakura.
"Do you understand any of this? It's like it's speaking in Japanese or something?" Devin said incredulously.

Listening to what the scientists had to say got Sakura kind of scared. What caught her attention the most was about the part when they said something about their worse nightmare. To her, it was bad enough that her worst nightmare would appear in her dreams, but appearing in something like this, scared her even more, even if it wasn't really real. Looking at the expressions on the face of the scientists they seemed pretty serious about this. She also looked at the expressions on the faces of the students. Some of them looked unsure, just like her, but some looked like they were cool with it. Her thoughts were interrupted when a booklet of papers were set in front of her. They were all paperworks about the person and terms and agreements in participating in this "experiment." Sakura wasn't sure if she should sign this or not, but the thought of the scholarship popped into her head.

"Well, they're just using some fancy words to sound smart. I think that's why they sound so complicated than it seems," she answered.

Thinking about the money that she was going need, she picked up the pen and started filling out the neccessary paperwork and signed her name where it was needed.

((I am deeply sorry for my lateness, Aeriona.))

Alexis laid a trembling hand upon the door. She let it creak open, only slightly, in the hope of an immediate response. Upon having her hopes dashed, she instead ran the hand exasperatedly through her head of crimson hair. Mother hated that she'd dyed it a third time....but then again, Mother no longer had any say. Not that she ever did. A deep inhalation, and Alexis gave the door an almighty push.

".....I'm...sorry I'm late."

Devin shrugged and then followed Sakura's lead by signing everything on the form that needed signing.
It's like we're signing over our lives or something. He thought while pausing at one line. How dangerous is this thing going to be?
Devin put down his pen and looked around. He noticed that a new girl had just walked in late. It looked like she had missed the presentation. But she was just in time to sign away her life. Devin gave her a wave from down the table. Then he looked back across the table to Sakura.
"Are you seeing anyone right now by any chance?" He asked giving her a charming smile.

Gabriella watched the people around her, busy at signing their names on the papers and breathed in slowly as she did the same. When the door opened, she accidently wrote off the line and down the page. She looked up to see a girl standing there and she was freaking out about being late. Gabriella returned to signing her papers as she listened to what her crush was saying. She tried not to watch him too much but she could feel his arms slightly touch her arm and it made her weak. When she was finished, she scaled her fingers across the table and began to get nervous about the whole situation. Glancing over at her crush, she smiled and stacked her papers without taking her eyes off of them. A scientist walked up to the girl who was late and handed her a pack of papers and began to describe the experiment and how they needed them to make a hasty decision.

"These need to be signed before anything. This experiment will not cause any harm to the people involved. It is just a way to see what is going on in dreams and nightmares." he explained to her.

“I guess I should trust them. They are paying for my education.” She whispered, watching the scientist talk among themselves.

A woman stepped forward while paper clipping a pile of papers together and looking every student straight in the eyes once at a time.

“We need dedication from you and loyalty. If you are prepared, I would like for you all to give the papers to me and then follow Dr. Baker to…” She stopped abruptly as one of the head honchos walked in and whispered something to her while looking around the room with a sly look on his face. “Sorry, follow Dr. Baker to the locker room. There you will be provided with a comfortable outfit and a few other things.” She stated, pointing to the person they were to follow.

Gabriella stood up quickly and followed her instructions. She was one of the first out of the room and she was the only one in the locker room when she came to it. A small metal door had her name imprinted on it and inside was an outfit chosen out in her size. Touching the fabric, she smiled knowing she would soon be freed from her parents and she could have her own life. A doctor summoned her over to a table where they did a short doctor check up and then slammed a needle into her arm. A blue liquid escaped into her veins and she was escorted to a seat as she became very dizzy.

Alyss let all the information wash over her, picking out important details amongst the muddle of words. Dreams, nightmares, Genisis...It all seemed to foriegn to her. She knew she should have been paying more attention than she was, but it seemed very complicated, even for her. As she was looking over the packet of papers everyone was given, a late comer timidly walked into the room.

"Dont worry about it." She replied to the new girl, who looked extremely akward and embarassed. She went back to looking at her paperwork, putting her signature in all the required spots. She was barely reading the booklet, which was probably a bad choice on her part. She followed the blonde girls example and placed her paper in a stack by the busy woman. She hesitated, not knowing where exactly to go.

"Ummm..." She started to mutter, but she decided to keep quiet. She followed the same blonde girl out of the room, but kept a large distance from her.

After Sakura had filled out the neccessary paperwork for this "project," a girl had walked in and had apologized of being late to the meeting. She wondered if there were more students coming for this meeting and if so, how many more of them were late? Pushing the thought to the side, she finished all her paperwork. While waiting, Devin had asked her a question which kind of shocked her.

"Um, well...not at the moment. Why do you ask?" she asked.

Before she could hear a reply, a woman had spoken to them about handing in their paperwork and walking to a locker room to change their clothes. When she was done, she gathered her packet and handed it to the lady. After, she walked into the locker and found her name on a locker. When she opened it, she saw clothes in there and changed into them. Afterwards, she was led to a table where a doctor was sitting. After doing some simple tests of her body, they had injected a blue liquid into Sakura's body. Then, she was led to a seat where the students who were done with their tests resided. Suddenly, Sakura felt dizzy and her head started to ache. As she looked over to the other students, it seemed like they were having the same effects as well.

Alyss entered the locker room, a bit akward and uncomfortably. She found a gray locker with her name on it, and opened it eagerly. Inside was a stretchy sort of suit, made in her size. She quickly put it on, the feel of the fabric quite smooth. Once she was done putting on her new outfit, she was led to a doctors examination table. They checked to make sure her body was in working condition.

"Oh..." She sighed as she saw the doctor pull out a big needle. Where was all this in the paperwork? She was injected with a blue syrum before being hurried to a seating area with the other students. She began to feel her head ache in pain, and she was growing disorientated. She slumped in her chair, lolling it against her shoulder.

Devin was about to respond to Sakura's question when a lady told all of them to go to their locker rooms. Apparently all of them needed to change for this thing. Grunting in annoyance Devin made his way after the others and followed them to the locker room. He found his locker without much trouble and changed into the jumpsuit type of outfit. After he stowed all of his things away and made sure everything fit, Devin headed out of the locker room. There were doctors at a table and some of the other students were being checked. A doctor beckoned him over and Devin sat down. He didn't say anything as the doctor gave him a physical but when he saw the needle he flipped.
"Hold it! What's the shot for?" Devin asked nervously.
The doctor didn't answer him and slammed the needle in his arm. He injected a blue fluid into it. Devin scowled but as soon as he stood up his vision began to blur.
"What the hell did you do to me?!" He demanded angrily.
Devin made his way to some seats and fell on them sitting down hard. He had always hated needles. He also had known that something was strange about the documents they signed. Devin had felt as if they were all signing their lives away and made he was right. Devin pitched forward in his seat and collapsed knocked out cold.

Just because someone offers you free money, doesn’t mean you can automatically trust them. Ken thought to himself as he heard Gabriella’s reasoning for signing the paper she as handed without fully being aware about what she was getting involved in. Noticing the man he head been waiting for from the start finally show up without even saying a word or bothering to mention who he was, Ken crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair leaving the papers that had been placed in front of him left unsigned. Tapping his foot impatiently on the ground as he continued to remain seated while the conference room was quickly being cleared out.

“You know you really have some nerve calling this project that supposedly allows one to go into the dreams of other’s Genesis.” Ken said finally opening his mouth after the room had completely emptied except for two other people.
“Umm, Sir Ken has yet to sign any of the papers that were handed out.” The woman, who had led all of the students into the room originally, stated as she stared down at the pile of papers in her hand.
“It’s fine, go check up on the other students as I wish to speak with Kenneth alone.” The man said looking over at his assistant and watched her walk away to do what he requested.
“There’s nothing we need to speak about. I want nothing to do with whatever experimentation you plan on putting those students through.” Ken said before standing up from the chair he was sitting in and turning his back to his father as he started to make his way to the door leading out of the conference room.
“You know it’s the same project.” Dr. Dantez said with a smirk across knowing that his comment would immediately get the attention of his son.
“What did you say?” Ken asked as he stopped in the doorway and stared back at his father and wondered if maybe the man was trying to deceive him.
“What I meant to say is that Genesis is the same project Kendra devoted herself to before her disappearance ten years ago. All did was have the scientist describing the experiment to the students embellish on its true details.” Dr. Dantez said with a smirk still clearly on his face as he began to move toward his son.

OOC: Sorry for the late entry post, guys. Hope I'm not jumping the gun here; and away we go!

IC: All she could hear was the roar of the engine as she bent low on the blue Harley, squinting through the plastic of her helmet. Cursing herself for her stupidity, Kisara leaned far to the right, her leather-clad shoulder almost touching the asphalt as she hurtled around the corner.

Coming insight of Biotech, Kisara backed off on the throttle. She couldn't believe how fast she had been going; normally she was an extreamly safe driver, but today it was like she had been an utter maniac. She could only guess that it had been the fact that she had woken up at seven instead of her usual six o'clock wake up that had her so out of sorts. She had taken care of Sunrise, her mare, then had hopped on her bike as soon as Holly had gotten to the ranch.

Stopping at the security gate, the girl drummed her gloved fingers on the handle bar as the security guard slowly acknowledged her presence. "How may I help you, Miss?"

Digging in the pocket of her leather jacket for the letter, Kisara then flipped up the visor of her helmet after handing the man the slip of paper. "I was invited here for a meeting, and I fear that I'm later than I should be. Could you please finish so I can get a move on?"

Surprised by how cultured her voice was, the security guard handed back the letter and pointed straight ahead. Taking that as her cue, she flipped the visor back over her eyes and barreled past him.

Rushing through the main entrance, Kisara forced herself to slow her pace as she walked over to the information desk. Catching site of the the woman behind the desk, Kisara asked, "Excuse me, but could you please tell me where the meeting about the scholarship is? I'm afraid I'm late."

Kisara had to suppress a surge of irritation as the woman's eyes skimed over her appearance with open disdain. Since she had been in such a rush, Kisara hadn't had time to put on the dress and blazer that she had been planning to wear, and she was well aware that the right knee of her jeans was ripped. Add that to the fact that she still had on her leather bike jacket, (it cost nearly $400, so she didn't want to leave it lying around) and Kisara was very sure that she looked like a girl from the wrong side of the tracks, which was no where near the impression that she'd wanted to make.

Finally deciding to answer, the woman said, "Right this way, miss." Leaving her seat, the lady started down the right hall. Falling in step behind her, Kisara matched the woman's pace until she stopped infront of a door. Knocking on it, the woman called out, "Excuse me, Dr. Dantez; but there is a young lady that says she was to participate in the sholarship. Would you like to see her?"

OOC: I am so getting the feeling that this could have turned out better, but whatever. And this ish also serving as a bump for the rp. Bye!

OOC: Good post, Dream!!! OOC

IC: Gabriella rested her head against the locker door, feeling the medicine starting to take effect on her fragile body. Her head swarmed with pain and she knew her body would give into the pain. It would do whatever it had to so that nothing would cause any damage to her insides but that is what any human expects their body to do. Her body responded with nausea that could have led to vomiting if she was conscious long enough.

She glanced around the room to see if any of the other students were having the same problem as her but they seemed pretty stable. Maybe she was just weak and her body couldn’t handle the amount of the blue liquid in her veins. Her heartbeat rose quickly as she leaned forward and placed her head up against her knees. Suddenly without any warning, she fell off of the bench and onto the ground where she was unconscious. The doctors stood there, not surprised at all and they just glanced around the room, waiting for the next one.

“We would like for you all to sleep for now so please understand this is not easy for us. We had to fool you all.” One of the doctors said, leaning against the hospital bed and poured out the rest of the sedative drugs on the floor.

Biotech had planned everything; they were going to get rid of all the evidence that the students entered the building. They went through Gabriella’s things as they knew the other students were going to be joining her soon. Grabbing the letter, they lit it on fire and threw it in the trash can. Then one of them packed a duffel bag with her clothing and a few things she could use in the Genesis world. As the others prepared the portal, a security guard made sure none of the students tried to leave.

Sakura watched as some of the employees were going through the belongings of one of the girls who were sitting on the benches, resting. She continued watching what they were doing and saw that they were buring the invitations they had received from Biotech. She was kind of surprised by their actions and knew that they would soon go through her own stuff and do the same. They also took a bag and placed the rest of their stuff in there to take with them. Soon the girl was led onto a bed by one of the doctors and had told the rest of them to rest on one of the beds also. Taking this chance, Sakura decided to rest on the bed also. She was feeling a big woozy and had almost collapsed onto the floor. Luckily, one of the doctors caught her and helped her walk to a bed.

Sakura looked towards the doctors and saw that they were now going through her belongings. They were digging all over, inside her bag and found the invitation they were looking for. Burning the piece of paper, they left no evidence of their uses of these students in this "experiment" of theirs. Finally, they took all her stuff and placed it in a bag and placed it in a different side of the room.

"Why would they burn all the invitations? I don't understand what's going on here. Could it be that we're not suppose to be here?" Sakura thought to herself.

Chris started feeling woozy and gratefully walked over to one of the beds he watched as they started going through his stuff and opened up his computer they played with it for awhile and then put in a diffrent bag after adding a few more items they wrote a quick note added it to the bag and put it next to his bed. Chris was confused but the shot was clouding his brain he eventually went in an unconsiuos sleep.

OOC: Thank God that you guys aren't too far in. Well, here goes.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hiro finishes wrapping his left arm in the white bandages that he always carries with him and smiles as he blinks away a bead of sweat. He then grabs a towel off of a bar next to him and looks at the nearest clock. He just gulps as he realizes that he is already late for the meeting. He quickly runs to his closet and grabs a black jacket that has his invitation in the inside pocket. He then slides it on and runs out of the building after grabbing his helmet with a black base and red streaks. He ignores the complaints from those that he nearly runs into and skids to a stop at the red and black '08 Honda CBR600RR that sits just on the curb. He then slides the helmet over his head and turns the key as he makes the engine come to life. He smiles at the loud roar of the 599cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine until he realizes just how late he is.

"I'm gonna be breaking so many laws this morning..."

He lowers the black visor and lowers his body to the body as the monster on two wheels jets out of the parking lot of the dorm. Once he feels the rush of the sudden take off, Hiro just smiles and decides to get in touch with his inner maniac by releasing every horse that the engine has locked within itself while weaving in and out of the slow but steady traffic. He realizes that this is all reality when he suddenly hears the sounds of police sirens behind him but they soon die out as the cruisers get stuck in traffic while he himself slices through it like a hot knife through butter. He then slows down a bit as he notices the building for Biotech close up on him and stops completely at the front gate.

"Another punk on a bike? This is getting really frustrating," says the large man as Hiro hands over the envelope with his invitation.

The man hands the paper back and tells him to hurry up if the young man wants to see even the slightest amount of money. Hiro only smiles from under the visor and speeds off towards the entrance as the guard yells at him to go slower. He then parks the bike next to the Harley and runs inside, kinda mad at the fact that he doesn't have time to admire the machine. Once inside he notices a girl walking through the lobby behind a woman and remembers what the guard said about there being two "punks" on a bike. He quickly puts one and two together and runs after the two ladies and leaves a few people yelling at him for running into them and sending papers flying everywhere.

Once he catches up with the two ladies he says, "Please tell me that I'm not too late for the scholarship meeting!"

“So there are still more arriving?” Dr. Dantez asked as he looked over at his receptionist after hearing what she asked.
“If she was on the list, it’s fine. Take her to where the other students currently are and help her get ready, after all the more the merry.” Dr. Dantez said while putting a pleasant smile on his face as he took a look at the young woman who arrived late.
“Miss Phoenixe, I’m glad that you were able to make it today but if we would excuse me I need to take care of a few things.” Dr. Dantez said politely as slight bowed his head to Kisara before walking out of the room and then down the hall.

Ken stood still growing irritated by what he knew to be his father faking politeness and simply blowing off what it was they were talking about earlier as simply nothing. Watching his father begin to talk away, Ken quickly started to follow after him, not wanting to let him go away before he could fully explain what he had mentioned earlier.
As soon as he turned the corner at the end of the hall, Ken saw his father standing there seeming to be waiting for him.

“Kenneth you were always so predictable.” Dr. Dantez said with a sly smirk returning on his face as he pulled out a strange rectangular device from his pocket and placed it into Ken’s hands.
“So what do I do with this?” Ken asked as he stared at the device he was handed, which to him simply appeared to look like some new kind of hi-tech cellphone.
“All the students were just injected with a unique isotope and through use of one of the unique functions on the device I handed you, one can basically track them.” Dr. Dantez said as he took the device from his son’s hands and turned it on.
“And see there they are.” Dr. Dantez said while he placed the device back into Ken’s hands as the screen showed several green blips currently inside of the building.
“So why should I care about this?” Ken asked after staring down at the device’s screen and then back at his father.
“If you plan on trying to save them you should.” Dr. Dantez said in a fairly serious tone as the smirk across his face suddenly disappeared while he waited for Ken’s reaction to the comment.

Kissing Him under the stars
One of the women watched as the boy rushed in and asked if he was too late for the scholarship meeting and she just shook her head. Handing him the papers and then a pen, she motioned him to sign them. Finish listening to what the other women was saying to her, she looked at the boy with an annoyed aura covering her and crossed her arms.

"You aren't late but you are behind. After you finish signing these papers, you need to follow me to get a shot and then you will be ready!" She stated in a harsh tone and began to walk toward a double door entrance.

One of the muscular scientists picked Gabriella’s body off the ground and held onto her until he was told what to do. Other doctors walked into the room to help all the other students who were very weak. This was the first time they ever did anything this severe and they knew if any news was to get out, they would be shutdown. The one that was in charge watched all the commotions around him unfold and as soon as his watch started to beep, he began to yell out commands.

“Dennis, you need to go erase the all the security camera tapes and make sure there is no evidence of them being here.
Troy and the rest of you need to take the students to the gate. I will be there soon…” he demanded, walking out of the room and Troy who held onto Gabriella left the room.

The scientist crowded around the students who were still awake and offered them a helping hand. Troy went to a large room filled with many computers and in the middle was a circular arch that had “Genesis” on the top. Placing Gabriella on the walkway a foot from the gate, Troy stepped back and glanced up at the control room. He gave them a thumb up and ran away as the machine began to boot up.

“This will be a test! Let’s see if she makes it into Genesis!” A voice said over the speaker as a bright light filled the whole room.

Gabriella’s limp body was lifted off the ground and then suddenly sucked into the gate but she didn’t reappear on the other side of the room. She was GONE. After the light was gone, they checked the computer screen for any errors and Troy checked the room but she wasn’t there.

“The test is a success. Let’s see how long she last or any of them for that matter.” They all laughed as they waited for the rest of the group.

Gabriella woke up a few seconds after being in the other dimension and thought she was just dreaming. The sky was a bright red color and area around her was completely deserted but she couldn’t see what crept in the shadows. Placing her hands over her face, she tried to wake herself up but she was still there in a world she didn’t know. Fear came over her as she stood up, trying to see anything in the distance but she was alone. Yelling would have been a waste and definitely crying would just make time pass. She had to find the answer to this peculiar place and then maybe she would wake up from this nightmare.

OOC: Okay, let's see if I can get this to come out right. Please, you gotta play this song, it fits really well with Kisara's actions. You Can't Take Me

IC: "Please tell me that I'm not too late for the scholarship meeting!"

Turning slightly to look over her shoulder, Kisara's eyes landed on a kid about her age with a messy thatch of brunnette hair. Shrugging her shoulders slightly as she pulled off her bike gloves, Kisara replied, "I don't think so; but you'd better hurry, or you will be."

“If she was on the list, it’s fine. Take her to where the other students currently are and help her get ready, after all the more the merry. Miss Phoenixe, I’m glad that you were able to make it today but if we would excuse me I need to take care of a few things.”

Musing on those words as she put the gloves in her pocket, Kisara unzipped her jacket, exposing the soft cotton of her dark blue tee. Glancing at the woman that was leading her, Kisara shoved back a growing feeling of suspicion; she hated that it was one of her defenses, but Kisara's instincts were making her feel uneasy.

Stopping in front of a door, the woman turned to look at Kisara as she said in a clipped tone, "Right through this door please, sir and miss. We will be with you shortly."

Stepping through, Kisara felt her insides turn to ice as she saw the other students. It was quite clear that they had been given some sort of drug; a small, thick blue puddle confirmed that fact. Suddenly putting two and two together Kisara shouted, "No way!" just as two doctors came toward her from the front and another approached from behind.

Spinning quickly, Kisara thrust her leg out, her booted heel catching one of the men in the stomach. Feeling one of the remaining two grab her arm, the girl hit him on the side of the jaw; she felt his grip go slack as the man slumped to the ground; she'd knocked him out cold.

Distracted by the first two, Kisara didn't have time to react as the third one twisted her arms behind her back. Wrapping his free hand in front of her chest, the doctor pulled her close against him and hissed in her ear, "Quit fighting, little minx. You don't wamt to lose that sholarship, do you?"

Trying her best to kick him, Kisara nearly shrieked, "Forget it! No sholarship's worth being used as a lab rat!"

Not bothering to deny it, the doctor tightend his grip on her arms, causing a slight yelp to escape Kisara. "Worth it or not, kiddo, a lab rat is presicly what you are." Looking over her head, he shouted, "Mark, get me some of that sedative, now!"

Still fighting him, Kisara managed to slip her left leg behind his knee; jerking her leg forward, she knocked the doctor off balance, which allowed her to get away from him. Spinning away, she tried to run for the door; but then she felt a sharp, stabbing pain, then a sensation of coldness spreading from her right shoulder. Glancing behind her, Kisara saw a hypodermic needle sticking through her jacket; there was a small amount of the blue liquid still in the needle.

Feeling the effects of the sedative almost immidiatily, Kisara dropped to her knees as Mark pulled the needle out of her jacket. Walking around in front of her, she watched as he quickly rumaged through her bag; her head going fuzzy, she saw him take out the letter and burn it with a cigarette lighter.

“The test is a success. Let’s see how long she last or any of them for that matter.”

Having gotten back to his feet, the third doctor snapped quickly, "Then get this one in and fast."

Barely awake now, Kisara felt someone lift her roughly and carry her into another room. Looking around, Kisara could just make out the word "Genesis" where she had been set down. Managing a woozy glare, Kisara shot the doctor a look that should have cut him into a million pieces. Then, she was gone.
