i watched a trailer and the voices were pretty bad, they sounded way of and to loud. but it could cause it was just placed over the video so people could better hear. it hope that was it cause otherwise it would realy be bad.

and i got used to terra

The E3 trailer I'm guessing? That one was just editted very poorly. Check out the Gamespot one instead; it's a huge improvement.

Way off meaning nothing like the JP voices I'm guessing? This is why I'm against comparing VAs.

well, not way. just didn't feel right. i was like one off those badly dubbed animes.
i also saw a japanese trailer, it sounded more natural than the dubbed one.

just read that it was a bad edited one, wich i mentioned it could be.

Yeah, SE's known for being lazy with the trailers recently.

As for the voice acting, the FF13 trailers are a perfect example. The voice acting started off kinda...bad, but they improved immensely over time. The in-game dialogue is much better than the most early trailers.

And now I'm going to IMDB to check if Terra's VA is still listed as Jim Carrey or if they've changed it to someone even more ridiculous.

Nope. Apparently Terra doesn't exist. What, you mean that guy with the giant keyblade and brown hair? That guy's not in the game. He's just put in there randomly for the trailers, Terra isn't a real character! If IMDB says Terra doesn't exist, it's obvious that Terra doesn't exist. After all, IMDB is ALWAYS right, right?

Terra: I will never forgive you, IMDB!!!

I clicked "see more" under the list of VAs and found him listed as Terra.
