There's something about your style that is both really creepy, really intriguing, and really cool.

Both of the above picture are of course the same. One i did with pen

These were characters i drew for a story i was assigned to do in art class.
I don't know where the story is now, but i did get an A

A finished piece of Dante, although the sketch was different
I had planned to put Virgil in the back, but i'm scared of messing
up the picture

I'm not really a fan of the graffiti style lettering, just because so many people did that type of thing back when I was in high school just because; still awesome just not my cup of tea.

I absolutely love the way you've drawn Vivi and Majin Buu. Very unique takes on their characters you have and I really love your reverse style. By that I mean you tend to make everything dark and then go back and lighten things up. I've also noticed that in your shaded pieces you tend to have a heavy hand, but the thick lines really work well for what you're trying to accomplish. It's always nice to see people who have a different style than I.

Have you ever given some thought about getting higher quality pencils like H's and B's?

thank you, back in those days my resources were limited, so drawing some of these older pictures was a little frustrating.

I really adore your penwork.

You should see how scared i get when i run out of ink. I need to start buying a few sets.

I dont do too much Graffiti lettering anymore, but i do love Graffiti artwork kinda like Vector or Vexel abstract works.

Woah! you read my work like a book....well an interesting book, LOL. I think the thing about what your explaining to me, is that most of my influence comes from reading comics. Even if i dont like a certain comic, i always flip through the pages just to see the artwork inside. I do accomplish my work with some small gratification, but at the same time i feel like i could do better, which is why at some point in my life, i'd like to take an art class.

When i look at works like Joe Madureira
JoeMadFan.com - Gallery
i just feel like i could do so much more..

I should buy higher quality pencil, i usually use what ever i can find

I can't believe I didn't pick up on that influence before.
But most definitely you should a wider range of mediums, it really makes you a lot more versatile which makes gives you many possible combination to work with. Like for instance a graphite drawing with touches of charcoal in certain dark spots.

It helps.
