Alright, first off NOT MY POEM, it's my best friend's offline and he writes poetry time to time. He wrote this one recently for fun and said he has no idea what kind of meaning it has, if any at all. SO, I ask you all of KHI to read and both critique and take a swing at what you think it means.
No right or wrong answers, just your opinion.
Sit next to me
and clearly see
whats free to see,
the world and nature's own beauty.
Huddled trees,
open seas,
the calming breeze,
reflect in it if you so please
But it is unfair to say
that today
is here to stay,
when tomorrow
moves not so slow
to carry away
what is today
and leave but a trace of yesterday
minds move slow time moves fast,
memories we own won't last
of days that have already passed.
We'll be asked but won't recall,
nature's own beauty is all
but a mask.
What is today will turn to past
as we seek for peace at last
