Back in September, "Face My Fears" was announce to be Kingdom Hearts 3's opening theme song which would feature a collaboration between Skrillex, Poo Bear, and Utada Hikaru. Fans can now pre-order the physical CD on Animate International's website for ¥1,296 ($11.48 USD approx.) which is set to release on January 18, 2019, the same day as the digital version of the single album.

Below you can read the news announcement from Hikaru Utada's official website, including the full tracklisting for the single release:  

“Face My Fears”, was announced to be the opening theme for “KINGDOM HEARTS III” and has drawn great attention throughout social media.

Today, details of the CD single, including the song list was revealed. The release is slated for January 18, 2019.

4 songs in total will be included : “Chikai”, the closing theme of “KINGDOM HEARTS III”, and the English version of “Chikai”, ‘Don’t Think Twice’.

“Face My Fears”, the opening theme of “KINGDOM HEARTS III” will have an English version as well.  Excluding “Chikai”, this will be the first time these songs will be released on CD.

All songs are related to "KINGDOM HEARTS III", which will be released on January 25, 2019, one week later from the CD release.

Fans all over the world are eagerly anticipating both releases in January next year!

Yes...but not for KH.

I hope this means it'll be on services like Spotify too at that time; if it is, it'll be a nice treat while waiting on KH3. No, I can't afford it but if they do that I get to listen anyway.

I'm kind of doubting it, but sort of hoping that when I go see Utada Hikaru's concert in December that she will sing the opening. (oh my god I actually won the lottery for tickets, yo).
But I suppose there's no reason for her to randomly spoil her own song, so...

They want $12 for 4 songs? Yeesh. I mean, maybe give us a sample of Face my Fears and I'll consider it.

It’s the Disney premium + the cost of printing.

I believe the digital album is cheaper.

This is exciting. Never actually bought one of her physical singles before now that I think about it. Also wild to think it'll be almost ten years since her last English-language album when this drops, what is time.

Can't wait to see the cover.

And that's all fine. I just can't behind preordering a CD with songs I've never heard before. The collaboration does sound amazing, but a sample would wager me more than just the artist names. Albeit, both are considerably amazing artists.

Laughter in the Dark tour had its first performance yesterday, UBLOG on Twitter posted a summary:

"Face My Fears" was not part of the lineup, but (unsurprisingly) both "Chikai" and "Hikari" were; some indication the latter might have a new arrangement? I don't know the show just sounds so wild and exciting in general I need it.

Also "Hatsukoi" standout track "Too Proud" gets a remix single featuring three new rappers from Vietnam, China and Korea.
