I was disappointed by a couple of pronunciations too: Marluxia, as most of us were, and Lexaeus too. Oh, and XION. Ugh, don't even get me started on her. Ever since I saw it written, I pronounced it as "ZEE-on," but NOO of course not! And of course I thought "mar-LUCK-see-ah," but that was wrong too. I always end up retraining myself to say it "properly" though, so it's all good.

Zexion - Zex-ee-on (But according to Vexen; Zex-ee-in)

I think that was just because of Vexen's accent. Sometimes "ON" is said as "IN" at the end of a name or word. :]

I was really upset with how you pronounce Marluxia`s name too. I still say "mar-luck-see-ah" anyways. And I switch between "she-on" and "shy-on" when I say Xion`s name.

yeah i feel the same way, they stuck with shion and people like it because it sounds more "feminine and cute". honestly i thought cool was better.

as for vexen i guess though more accurately he said zexian (like if it was a nationality or something)

Ruk-so-do. (That was how his name was translated when he first appeard in magazine scans.)
Mar-Luk-see-ah (Not Luck-sia First time I heard that pronounciation was in a fan film)

As for Demyx in japanese デミックス=Demikksu
Xaldin says his name after the fight with 1000 Heartless, he says something along the lines of: Be wary. If you lose that die roll, you will share Demyx's fate.
(Ironic isn't it, he warn Luxord not to do something stupid that'll kill him, and he himself is the next to fall.)

I've always thought it was pronounced dem (as in demo) and ix (as in mix)
