I hope that isn't the rare dream eater. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like the way it looks, but at the same time it looks like Wandanyan with a different color scheme and a crown, I was kind of hoping for something that looks completely new, but I should have known that it would have a similar appearance to Wandanyan considering it is the main dream eater.

Yeah, I get what you mean. However, I'm sure its much stronger than regular Wandanyan, plus it must have some kind of new ability I think its name was "Kingdanyan". I find it sort of fitting because, like you said, Wandanyan has been the "main" Dream Eater. Then this one has crown symbols all over it, which is one of the most prominent symbols in the series I like it

Also, I wonder: Do Pinocchio/Geppetto remember Sora/Riku from Kingdom Hearts 1?

I wouldn't bet on it, time seems to be warped in that place (3 Mickeys, x Xehanorts). Maybe that's why there are all the Xehanorts, the gathering can only be done in the RoS or something, where time is all over the place...

I'm surprised that there hasn't been even a tentative US release of this game. I forget, when was BBS's US date announced in relation to the Japanese release?

The trailer here looks amazing, so many things happening. And then to top it off, that rapid fire last 10 seconds which probably made 50 times the amount of questions from people than the rest of the trailer. I have a feeling that this game will have a villain-winning ending.

The ending is to be "shocking", but from the trailer.....it seems.... Sora will be stuck within the RoS.

One thing that YMX said has got me thinking.....to Riku, when he kicked Mr. Mew at him, he said that Riku wasn't asleep, only conscious or something.
Was he saying that it's just Riku's consciousness that is the Riku in the RoS that we play as.....if so, then where are his and Sora's bodies actually.....

That could end up being MX's plan then, if Sora and Riku's bodies are somewhere else and it's only their consciousness' roaming about the RoS, then it seems to me that it would be easy picking for a new body to take hold of. Depending on the circumstances concerning everyone else too, including MX himself.

I am interested in exactly how they go to the RoS. Do they enter a portal, body and all physcially and walk in the realm, or are they in a chamber or pod that holds their body but their spirit is sent to the realm.

I watched that scene again, and I got the feeling like he was referring to Riku maybe being trapped in the realm, or unable to fully be active in the real world.

I like how with those 12 hooded figures showing up around Sora that they are in the same position of the numbers on a clock, with YMX as 12.

oh man, I meant to say unconscious....not conscious, conscious would mean he was awake.

But I still am wondering just how they enter the RoS, and if it just their consciousness' that enters, then by all means that'd be fine by me.
But I understand what you mean, and yeah I guess we will just have to wait.....I was never really that good about speculating, especially when I'm tired.

I thought he said something along the lines of "What are you doing here? You still don't get it do you? In that case, there's absolutely nothing you can do. You'll drift endlessly between waking and sleep, never again to awaken". Anyway i think when Sora and Joshua are witnessing Riku walking backwards, Joshua is saying Riku is in a different plane of that world. From the dialogue between Riku and YMX, it seems like Riku was given a warning about being in the ROS, his consequences being him drifting between awaking and sleeping.

In the trailer, it's the fighting clip of Riku within the Warship, and there is a DE dice rolling around, and Riku is attacking something. I just barely noticed that it was a member of the Black Guard.

Oh my god it is! I love it when we get to fight the Disney villains grunts as regular enemies Hopefully they will alway be fightable even after you complete the world like Maleficent's grunts were, and not like the Undead Pirates who stop showing up afterward (for story reasons, I know, but its still disappointing )

Oh right, but I mean they could have been mini-game exclusive for all we knew Its nice to have confirmation they will be regular enemies as well. I also love that they use their wings to fly around, which I know they did when Riku was on his light cycle also

Why do only Nomura's favorite worlds have to get original enemies? That's biased. Do you know how much I would give to fight the Frollo's soldiers or the Galactic Federation's officers? But noooo, we have to get Black Guards.

Also just had a thought in mind how this game is in many ways a 10 years anniversary game. You have so many references and links to past games and the mere fact that you play with the younger incarnations of Sora and Riku also will make the experience a bit nostalgic!

Yeah i feel the same way, the music made the trailer all the more epic. Especially when Sora is talking to Dream Eater Pinocchio <3

I can't help but agree that we should get more Disney enemies. While I'm not sure if Nomura plays favoritism to some worlds, I can understand not fighting Frollo's guards as they are just normal humans and Disney might view that as a no-no. However, some enemies like Galactic Federation Officers or random hyenas in Pridelands for example wouldn't be bad.

Exactly! Or Shan-Yu's army of Huns (Unless beating up humans is still a no-no for Disney). I mean,look at that scene with him on the mountain. In the movie, it was epic because of all of the Huns being there with swordsman an darters. But in KH, we just got yellow bird things. That is a major downgrade. They could've at least replaced them with some of those centaur Heartless.
