Hrm, I'm not sure which way to take it.

But Deep Jungle has been written out of history. Nothing that happen there will be brought up ever again.
Also, I had no idea that Chi originally didn't let you get EXP in the Coliseum (because I never got that far in it myself). Dang!
...And from the sounds of it, it seems you don't like Atlantica. Can't say that I blame you, but it's kind of hard being the only person in the world who didn't mind that gimmick introduced with it in II. LOL.
What’s the difference between the two Gargoyle Statues, the Warriors and the Knights? There is a difference, but I don’t know it out-of-hand, as it doesn’t influence the way I play! I remembered Lance Soldiers, but not that they were on this world.
This is why I feel Goofy was shouting earlier: he read the script again and knew the Heartless were coming. The devs have him do this time and time again in KH2 to make him look wise and perceptive
Promises play a critical role in KH2, both Sora’s promise to Kairi that he and Riku will come back, and the “Other Promise” that has been so strongly associated with Roxas. Keep an eye on these.
It summons Chicken Little, from Disney’s first non-Pixar 3D flop.
This phrasing is… let’s say “misleading,” because the person he calls up from the grave is Auron, a warrior monk and “guardian” from Final Fantasy X – definitely not a bad guy. But even more confusing (FFX spoilers!)… as far as I understand FFX, Auron shouldn’t be dead? (Especially since Tidus, the hero of FFX, is a teenager right now!) Was this another of KH2’s dramatic over-reinterpretations, like Setzer? Maybe I’ll find out when the Marathon hits FFX!
You’re probably wondering this, but Demyx’s name is never said out loud, and so didn’t have an official pronunciation for years. It wasn’t until the release of 1.5 HD that it was given an official pronunciation (it’s close to “dem-ix”).
At first glance, you might suspect that Pete would fight like a Large Body. It’s not just his build: his jumpsuit calls to mind the colouration of the Large Body,
After you beat Pete or an invisible timer or flag exhausts (perhaps you have to kill a certain number of Heartless? As Spazbo4’s playthrough shows, you can’t kill Pete here, no matter how many combos you complete)
hang on. Where are we just now? Is this the coliseum Hades was talking about? It might have seemed that way but you’ll see later that it wasn’t Hades’ arena. Are we… inside the locking mechanism? This raises so many questions!
Naturally FM+ tried to do something about this famous problem, though their fix is something I find… also questionable, though certainly not as questionable. In FM+, as far as I can tell, Phil will say the line once. Ever. If the Hydra gets back up and you knock it back down, Phil doesn’t seem to repeat himself. Maybe I’m mistaken, but I circled around for a while just to see what was going on (and this was in Critical Mode, so I hope you people realize the risks I’m taking for you). And if he’s in the distance, you won’t hear him – either that or they turned his volume down in general and that’s why I didn’t hear him.
A similar sequence does appear in 1994’sMickey Mania / Mickey’s Wild Adventure, which probably inspired this sequence, but seeing it in 3D is still very impressive.
This… urm… “boss fight” just adds more hints that Pete isn’t really the modern one, like how he gestures and showboats more than attacks, and how the damage he causes is mostly in response to your attacks (for example, if you knock him in the air, he’ll come down with a shockwave).
This is an Aeroplane, a highly cartoonish and frankly harmless aerial attacker,
who may or may not be inspired by Mickey’s third film, 1929’s Plane Crazy.
Sadly, watching dozens of classic cartoons is not in my job description, as much as I wish it were.
This starts the second phase of the boss battle, this time with past Pete on your side (like Leon, he is just running his enemy AI with his target switched around).
And it seems… Donald never once mentioned Daisy to Sora in all the time they knew one another?
After all, he wasn't in the book, you know~Of course, Pooh doesn’t remember Gopher (why should he? He wasn’t in the first game!)
I think it might've been Kenneth Mars' last voicework for Triton before he passed, so there's that. I almost don't want to see Atlantica again because I can't imagine the character without Mars. (I believe Jim Cummings voiced him in Ariel's Beginning, and he was awful in that role...)
You're on your own with this one!
Will you be covering Atlantica first? Or Port Royal? Also curious to see if you do Halloween Town before Agrabah, or vice versa.
“This only proves Barbossa’s hostile intentions.” Wow. I never noticed that before. I mean, I noticed the canons, but not that the ones in that room would be pointing at where Barbossa would be?
This video recently gave me more reason to care about PR (as it pointed out to me that it's the only world in KH2 that encourages you to use magic and rewards you for doing so, as you yourself talked about here). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tc8hrXyG1xw
Btw, you seem to really like Barbossa in KH (not knocking that or disagreeing with you about that at all), but have you seen TV Tropes argument about how the KH version of him removes any sympathy he had in the movies? If so, what do you think about it?^^
The bolded part always annoyed me since, despite Twilight Town and Hollow Bastion's plots trigger after finishing either Halloween Town or Agrabah (meaning you can meet up with Mickey before visiting Agrabah,) they didn't bother to change the dialogue to accommodate for it. It's not like it would have been hard to omit that one line.the trio’s reminiscence brings up the idea that Riku and the King might be here! For no reason!

There really isn't one aside from her being , but for the most part it can probably be reconciled with the fact that, well, spoilers. Not to go off-topic, but what is the explanation KHX gives for Alice being left unprotected? (Since I doubt I'll ever play KHX.)
Spoiler Showshe's not real
For some reason, I always thought Kairi going through a Corridor of Darkness was somehow an accident. I guess that doesn't make sense (and is probably easily disproven by one of the hundreds of interviews I haven't read), but my impression was that Pluto was jumping from portal to portal looking for Mickey and Kairi just happened to catch a ride on one. Which makes me wonder--how did Pluto even know Kairi? They've never been in a cutscene together before this moment.
