Really good episode this week, and it's up there as one of my favorites for the season. Any episode with more Scarlet is awesome.

But man, no even the power of Chuck Norris could get Dandy and Scarlet together at the end. So sad. </3

It does seem that way.

Watanabe did say if it was popular, they could easily do around 100 episodes though.

But I'm not sure if it has sold enough.

That's extremely disappointing. If it is indeed the case, I hope they were given enough time to make a satisfying finale.

Unfortunately, Space Dandy's disc sales have been rather abysmal. It's averaging less than 1,000 copies sold per volume.

That courtroom episode was pretty good. I've enjoyed this show a lot more than I thought I was going to and now you guys are saying the next one might be the last one ever? Sad news for us all.

this has been one really bland show to me. I tried everything to watch it and keep up...but it's just not my type of entertainment i guess.

Bland and Space Dandy can't go in the same sentence, I respect your opinion that it isn't your cup of tea...but to call Space Dandy bland is outright wrong.

True. Just the sheer amount of randomness that happens in each episode makes it impossible to describe it as bland. xD

Just a random question: If Space Dandy were to continue as a movie, what would it be about? Could it be like a retelling of the series' events, but shed in a new light? Or would it be a completely new adventure that, much like the series, ignores the established continuity? Personally, I'd like it to be a combination of the two: a plot that mirrors the events of the series in a new light, but could double as a completely new adventure that we haven't seen before.

maybe...i've gone bitter over the years when it comes to anime. You could show me a whole years line up of animes, and i'd probably find one marginally decent. Needless to say, that just because it's random...doesn't make it good in my opinion. I think (as i said before) It's a bland show.

I understand how you feel. Season 1 was a pretty mixed bag for me with some really fun and creative episodes and some really mediocre and forgettable ones. Season 2 hasn't really captured me as parts of season 1 have. I'm starting to consider dropping the show.
