all the organization member's names are just anagrams of their original names with an x in it.
it seemed as though no one mentioned that. such as Xemnas-Ansem and Vexen-Even.
So it would be Xion. So her original name before she became a nobody could be anything from ion to noi.
but she could just be a character that decided to go by a different name before they were turned into a nobody
,like Ansem.

Or her name was completely irrelivant but she's in cahoots with Xemnas in the matter so they picked up a name in random that would have an X to make it seem like they did the whole 'new you' issue. Also an option.

Her name is spelled "Xion" but pronounced "shion".

Japanese don't have a character for the "x", plus they pronounce things a lil differently.

For instance, as we would say Zexion (zex-ee-on) the Japanese say "zek-shi-on"

You know, kinda like the "L"s are "R"s

heh, at first I thought it was pronounced "Zeon"

her name is Xion, but it is pronounced shion in japanese. Like Roxas was pronounced rokusasu in japanese.
