Imo Manga was real good before time skip though it's getting better. I just didn't know if they were talking about another manga/show.

I've seen some of Samurai 7. Pretty crap compared to a lot of other samurai anime imo, even though I liked the blond dude

11 was a really good episode, I was afraid Ganta was just going to remain as a fodder character throughout the series that got saved by Crow and that girl with the blood whip. Is there any hope for a second season? If not then I guess I'll start reading the manga.

The production of the Deadman Wonderland anime was... weird.
But in any case, the anime leaves out key characters that they knew they weren't going to have time for.

Yeah I remember reading some of the manga awhile back. The dude with guitar and the little girl with the sword got killed somehow, the black girl died, and there was some other girl Ganta made friends that I guess pinwheel was talking about.
The anime is better imo

If the anime leaves out that much stuff and stops on such an awkward part of the story, it was a poor choice for Toonami's lineup. What reason did Ganta give for not wanting to escape again?

I'm not sure why Ganta chose not to leave, although it's probably because everyone outside hates him for what they think he's done and with Nagi gone and not too many of the other Deadman around he doesn't have anyone to be friends with.
There should definitely be a second season with the way it ended though, although sometimes anime endings do tend to leave you hanging and having to read the manga.
