I think Moana could also work since her story literally starts because Te Fiti's heart is simply misplaced (the world's heart in KH terms?) and darkness is at the edges of infecting everything; the ocean keeping the heart hidden would be the reason Heartless haven't taken it over entirely. Perhaps Treasure Planet could also work since TP itself is not a traditional world (it was built by a pirate) and TP's location could simply be in the Realm of Darkness, what better way to hide the treasure after all. Maybe Wreck-It Ralph could work somehow, with the central station between games preventing the Heartless from destroying everything entirely and video game characters have been staying inside the station as various games / parts of their world have slowly been cut off one by one. Mama Odie could be protecting the TP&TF world similar to the Heart of Atlantis.Considering that Union Cross scene where MoM said the darkness once took the same form as humans, I could see there being a civilization somewhere in the realm of darkness.
I think implementing Disney worlds would be the hardest part. Atlantis is one that could fit as it could have “sunk” into the RoD with the light of the crystal keeping the Heartless at bay. Other than that, I don’t know how they would explain many Disney worlds being there. It would be interesting to see what Nomura could come up with though.
I think I'd rather have Wall-E, EVE and M-O being construction/maintenance robots in Radiant Garden for Ansem the Wise and his apprentices in Radiant Garden, much like how Little Chef (Remy) was brought to Twilight Town from his original homeworld by Scrooge so that he can continue expanding his culinary Horizons and be Scrooge's Chef at his Bistrot in KH3, instead of visiting a world based on Wall-E or doing an original storyline IMAO.I'm at a loss thinking about anything else... But I didn't really think about PIXAR films. Perhaps the ship in WALL E that abandoned the Earth could simply be sailing through the Realm of Darkness? The Land of the Dead could be a way the Coco world is connected to the Realm of Darkness while the living half is in the Realm of Light.
Anyone think we could possibly get a game explaining how Dilan and Aeleus lost their voices? For all we know those two could have had a grand offscreen adventure together that quietly saved the world between DDD and KH3.
Per DDD, I think Xehanort pretty much stabbed everyone and called it a dayMaybe Melody of Memories shows how they both decided to ally with Apprentice Xehanort over Ansem the Wise.
It would be interesting if the MoM and Darkness are actually the physical embodiments of Light and Darkness, meaning that these entities are actually sentient and intellectual. So where do you guys see this series heading with Phase II? Can we expect MoM to be "Lux" and find him to be a long battle against "Darkness"? If so, would that make "Darkness" the main antagonist within Phase 2? I just hope they don't stretch it out with 'multiple/ alternate universes'.. I really don't like how over-used that formula is now.
They sort of did in (spoilers for FF15) withIt would be interesting if the MoM and Darkness are actually the physical embodiments of Light and Darkness, meaning that these entities are actually sentient and intellectual.
. I wonder how the writing process would move forward if that's the case. It would have to move past "Darkness" vs. "Light" and Nomura would have to be really innovative in the writing process. However, I just don't see how they could fit any larger narrative within the Kingdom Hearts universe. They would have to start foreshadowing towards Phase III now for it to be really unexpected.Spoiler Showthe final boss, Ardyn
I would actually like to see this story explored.Leave it to Nomura to make both these character's relevant somehow. Maybe Melody of Memories shows how they both decided to ally with Apprentice Xehanort over Ansem the Wise.
Quick question, when the apprentices banished Ansem the Wise from Radiant Garden, were they already Nobodies or did they do that in human form? It's been awhile since I read the KH2 Ansem Reports. If they did it as humans then they would have aligned themselves with Apprentice Xehanort before he went stab happy on them.Per DDD, I think Xehanort pretty much stabbed everyone and called it a day
It's pretty much going to be the same stuff that it's always been, except instead of referring to bad stuff as darkness "the stuff", now they're going to pin melodrama and all of the negativity brought with it on the latest OCDonutSteel Darkness "the character". Additionally, Master of Masters will be the eternal black coat (assuming Master Odin isn't in fact MoM in disguise), serving as a faux historical figure that never gets explained (much like the Keyblade, Kingdom Hearts, and the X-Blade).So where do you guys see this series heading with Phase II?
