Name: Valerie Mason
Age: 16
Gender: Female

Personality: Valerie has blossomed a lot into a fine young woman, she has a good sense of humor and a great sense of direction. She's a good person to lean on despite her fear of causing disappointment in others. Valerie isn't the type to really bust out a move or anything like that at all, but she can be laid back as well, especially among her friends and family, and knows how to have a good time. However, Valerie does like to bend the rules a lot and isn't afraid to break curfew. As far as authority, adults, and the elderly go, Valerie is usually respectful towards them, and will help them when asked.

Recent History: Valerie did live in a small apt. awhile ago but she's been relocated into the suburbs on the outskirts of town that's surrounded by the dense forest in Nix with her mom and dad. All of her things are still the same. She still works at the local bookstore in Nix. However, she happens to be a citizen of Nix much like her mother and father are now. Her gran-gran lives in the city, and her brother is non-existent. Valerie's life has become bizarre as everything else about her stays the same and her friends, except for her life at home. Of course, she's grown to like her new friends in the Investigation Committee Club too.

Appearance: Valerie is 5"4 in height, blue eyes, medium length brown hair that curls at the tips, medium sized chest, and wears a mala bracelet around her right hand. There's some muscle tone definition in her arms and legs. Including brown freckles along the back of her shoulders and across her face. Valerie prefers to wear a comfy, soft blue hoodie over a pair of skinny blue jeans, and tennis shoes on her feet. Valerie also always keeps a rubber band for her hair in her left back pocket.

Talents: Lying with a straight face.

Clubs: Investigation Committee, Cross Country & Track.

Other: Valerie dislikes being touched unless she initiates it first. Her room is piled with books she loves to read. Dislikes cats and wet socks. Loves summer. And usually carries her ipod around with some headphones to listen to some tunes.

Arcana: Priestess

Valerie persona manifest as Crona, her appearance is long blue cloths hanging overher shoulders instead of flowers with tiny pieces of the moon embroidery along them. Crona is bare foot and plays a harp as she sits cross legged when summoned.

Person skills:
Bufu - ice forms in blocks and breaks, causing damage to the enemy.
Mabufu - ice forms and hits several enemies at once.
Media - heals the party.
Null Rage - Keeps Valerie from becoming overcome by rage.

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Personality: Yan is an easy-going boy with a very mature mind, he rarely gets angry or stressed with something. He do his best try to help everyone who ask, because he wants to see everyone happy.
He prefers to do the physical part of things rather than think about plans and strategies. That’s one of the reasons he doesn’t have fear of doing dangerous things and sometimes don't care about risks.

Bio: Yan lives in a small apartment with his two years-old brother and his mother, although she work outside Nix and rarely show up. He doesn’t hang-out or do anything at school after classes because he uses his afternoon time to take care of his brother, while their grandmother do this when Yan is at school. At home he work as a locksmith and became well known for being a cheap alternative when someone needs a copy of some key.

Appearance: He is a short and slim boy with dark hair and dark eyes. His normal outfit is just a grey or green hoodie, blue jeans and boots. He also use a silver necklace.

Arcana: Moon - Characters who are of the Moon Arcana are often similarly psychically-attuned, but a more common trend is their projection of their own fears and faults onto others. They often tend to have trouble accepting themselves for who they are and, because of that fear, try to correspond to an ideal person. And like the Arcana, there is a hidden depth as to why they act in their behaviors.

Persona: Kaguya

Persona Skills: Counterstrike – 15% chance of reflecting a physical attack.
Radiant Arrow – Deal light weak damage to all foes.
Mediarama – Restore moderate amount of HP of party.

Talents: Drawing and sculpting, wich helps him in his job.

Not that CD didn't explain it well, but my own take on how we're doing this:

When our characters from the previous version of this RP woke up outside the dojo, what our characters didn't realise was that they were shifted into an altered timeline. So we are the same characters from before and we have the memories of what happened before (if you were a part of the past one), but some things in this timeline are now changed.

I'll go ahead and give this example: My character had murdered his father in the other timeline and was hiding from the cops. In this timeline though, my character's father will be alive, thus no cops, and my character will have to deal with the memory of actually killing his father but now having to live with him again.

So yeah, this shift is a good way to alter certain things for veterans from the original Persona Frozen, and provide an easy explanation that any missing RPers simply got lost in the shift.

so basically it's the same concept as frozen being innocent sin and this being eternal punishment?

Name: Crystal Donn

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Personality: People around Crystal often think very highly of her but she herself feels as if she has little to offer anyone, and that she’ll never amount to anything. Though she often helps others and puts on a show of being self-confident and looking forward to her future, the opposite is actually true. She’s terrified of what the future brings for her, and sees herself as a failure in every regard besides her practical mastery of the piano. Her playing often inspires others and this, along with her outward caring nature, makes others believe she genuinely cares for others. The truth is, she thinks of most people as obstacles as best and annoyances at worst; they're just there to get in her way and knock her down.

The thought of the future terrifies Crystal. She has no ambition aside from her instrument but like she's always said, 'you can't just make a living off of it. It's not that simple. There's always someone better than you.' This petrifying thought has Crystal in a state of anxiety as graduation looms closer every year. As always, she hides this behind a mask and keeps it to herself. Ever since her Shadow took over Crystal's body (see bio), Crystal has become much more aggressive, especially after the Shift. The negativity Crystal kept bottled up has begun to overflow, and though the Shadow has taken a vow to keep things under control until it can recover Crystal's consciousness, it's been a rough road.

Bio: Crystal's father taught her to play the piano when she was a small child. Since then she's had a fond love for the instrument, even after his passing. Playing it always reminded her of him, and it shows. Her best friend, Zoey, plays the violin and they are both members of the school's music club. She recently joined a new club that someone named Cures started; its purpose was to investigate the disappearances surrounding the town. Crystal thought it was mostly a joke and went for fun, but quickly learned she had just taken a step on a very dangerous road.

On the group's first outing they found a missing person drenched from the nearby lake. The group went to investigate and was quickly sucked into an alternate world of Shadows and danger. They were attacked and in a moment of weakness, Crystal allowed herself to temporary be possessed by her Shadow. Things didn't go to plan and the group was warped back home before the Shadow could dispel herself. As a result, the real Crystal is locked away somewhere in the Shadow world while her Shadow roams the real world. Shadow Crystal has vowed to find her true self, knowing full well that Crystal's death would mean the end of the Shadow unless the Shadow herself was the one to kill her. The real world does not sit well with Shadow Crystal and she has entrusted Saito, another member, to keep her in check.

Appearance: Crystal stands at 5'6, has naturally tanned-colored skin and has straight black hair that reaches just passed her shoulders. She usually wears her straight down but has been known to place it in a tail for convenience. More recently, she has kept the pony tail due to its simplicity in everyday life, and has even considered cutting it even shorter. Crystal's most distinguishing feature would undoubtedly be her eyes. Through what doctors have told her was a rare genetic mutation, Crystal has naturally deep purple eyes. Because of her odd 'mutation,' she often jokes with others and say she has Alexandria Genesis, an untrue story of course. Because of her eye color, her wardrobe often incorporates matching or complementary colors of violet; her current favorite outfit is a black tank top under a solid purple blouse with a heavy dark zip-up hoodie along with blue denim jeans. Since Crystal's Shadow has taken over, her eyes have shifted to an eerie golden color. Though she tries to hide them behind a pair of sunglasses, most people have already noticed them.

Other: Crystal is a pianist prodigy. She has perfect pitch (which both helps and hinders her) and has almost mastered the piano. Despite this, she believes she wouldn't be able to play for a living. Crystal has a deep love for cats and peanut butter. She was an only child, but the Shift has brought her into a world with a twin brother, Casper.

Arcana: The Star Arcana, much like Crystal, seemingly shines brightly to others in a brilliant display. It inspires those below, especially in times of need. All stars fade and fall, however. When she falls, she will fall hard. And she will fall.

Persona: The Neko Shogun. Quick as lightning with a thunderous strike to boot. Crystal herself fights in hand-to-hand combat, wearing protective gloves to punch with all her might. Since her Shadow has taken over, Crystal's fighting style has become more wild and dangerous. More than once she has damaged her human hand, despite the protective gloves.

Persona Skills: Zio/Thunder Swing - A quick swing that sends off a surge of electricity.
Assault Dive - A quick rush of blows to foes.
Power Charge/Bestial Roar - Amps up the user's physical attacks after a warning cry.

Talents: As stated, she is on the road to becoming a master pianist. Besides English, Crystal can also speak fluent Spanish as well as use American Sign Language. For whatever reason, the cold no longer seems to effect Crystal since her Shadow took over.

Name: Erin Lane
Age: Sixteen
Gender: Androgynous Female (will appear male very often)

Personality: Erin is a bit astute and somewhat sensitive to superstition and more importantly people. Her intuition is unusually sharp, she is also an excellent judge of character. Simultaneously, erin has many walls she surrounds herself with as a result of a traumatizing relationship with her mother. She is more of the time to favor the idea of "men's opportunities" as opposed to the limited options women have. Whether this is due to some innate jealousy or not, it seems rather frustrating to her. Often fixed with a masquerade to throw off others from the true self, this was just a means to get by and pass as male. Though Erin is keen and pays attention to what could be useful, somethings just happen to come to Erin subconsciously and that seems to frustrate her with rapid deja vu, or knowing something she was working towards figuring out came through some unexplainable means of intuition.

Bio: Though probably against better judgement as a declaration of her parents, Erin has been submerged in detective work and atmospheres since she was a child. She understands the mentality and how to think like a police officer, P.I. and the like after dedicating years to her family's practice. Fundamentally sound in conversations revolving around investigations, she had little time to dedicate to actually befriending people around her age. With a lot of moving as apart of the job, did little to alleviate this issue and this continued up until today. Recently, she has been working on a few cases exposing her to homocide, suicide, and basic forensics.

Arcana: Hierophant - a symbol of education, authority, conservatism, obedience to rules and relationship with the divine. The definition of a "hierophant" is a person who interprets sacred mysteries or esoteric principles, and the term was originally used to name ancient Greek priests who did so. This Arcana's original name, however, is the Pope, the male counterpart of the Priestess.

Persona: Garforge (OC recreated by Ophan!)
Said to be of age, of wisdom, and of power, Garforge is a symbol of solidarity and conservative ideals. His presence is reminiscent of slating knowledge, while boasting no weakness, but no true strength as well, arguably perfectly balanced. Garforge is immune to both light and dark magic, resistant to elemental attacks, but takes normal damage from all physical attacks. Typically this persona appears when the user is having a tragic reality accepting or embracing the past.

Persona Skills:

Megido - A skill that inflicts a medium level of non-elemental damage to all opposing parties. It usually goes unhindered by physical resistance and repel skills, however special shadows have shown to have certain resistance.


Assault Dive - A skill that uses about 9% of the user's health to perform a light damage attack on a single enemy.

Rakukaja - A skill that raises the user's resistance to damage from both physical and magic attacks for roughly 150 seconds.


Talents:
She is feigned for her detective skills and more so her skill of "Neutral Liberation". When Erin seeks the truth, she applies an unbiased and indiscriminate facade to unravel and uncover as many angles as possible. It is a kind of concentration and analytical ability thats taken many years to build, leading her to simplify tasks such as code-breaking, cross-referencing patterns, attention to fine detail, and careful intersection in one's speech patterns. This was a talent built, expressly from her background as a detective-in-progress.

Personality:
Jin is probably one of the most forgettable people you’ll ever encounter. Lazy and lethargic, he doesn’t really see a reason in anyone going out of their way to do much of anything. He grows bored very easily and spends most of his time in class sleeping away the day. Jin often speaks very slowly and relaxed, as if talking is the only thing keeping him entertained for the next few moments so he needs to speak as long as possible before he must return to his monotonous life. He often finds himself just kind of floating through his own existence, with every task as menial and mundane as the last. He can usually be seen unleashing deep breaths and heavy sighs, as if breathing itself is so boring and mundane he needs to switch it up in order to keep spark in his life. He doesn’t go out of his way to care for anyone, much less try to keep friends, so he becomes easily forgotten by most people. He could probably miss a whole week of school and not a soul would notice. Due to his apathy, he misses a lot of social cues, in the instances where people actually give him their time.

However, Jin isn’t just a stick in the mud. He is always quick to give his opinion or comment on situations that often have nothing to do with him. If you drop your backpack, he’ll let you know you dropped your backpack, but he might not bother to help you pick it up. Why do that? It would just be a selfish response to make you think he’s a good person. And there are no good or bad people, people are just people. He does what he wants, no matter what anyone says or thinks. But he doesn’t bother DOING much of anything, despite this trait. He tried to break out of his shell, but doesn’t see the point. Jin thinks everything is fleeting: happiness, love, taste, touch, life itself. Why go out of your way to try to make a difference or be recognized or be valedictorian when as soon as you’ve achieved it, it’s gone? Any and everything could be taken away at any moment, and Jin realizes this. If he doesn’t form attachments, he doesn’t run the risk of losing them, besides in the long run he will anyway. That’s just less for him to do. He has very strong opinions and beliefs, and maybe deep down, he just desperately wants to be heard. And maybe even deeper, he wants to be recognized.

Jin has no idea what he wants to do with his life, but is proficient in everything. The only reason he gets average grades in school is because he doesn’t apply himself, but he is shown to be quite intelligent. Jin stifles himself by not trying, when if he did, he might see a bit of that spark of life that he longs so badly for. Now at 18, with graduation looming, Jin feels pressured more than ever to start coming up with a game plan for his future. He’s wasted his years in high school getting mediocre grades, not joining any clubs, going to any school dances, every yearbook in years past has had his name with an empty picture in it because he didn’t see the point of being in a book he’s going to throw away years from now.
Despite these facts, there’s a side of Jin that deeply wants to change. That wants to be free and wants to do something with his life and make friends or SOMETHING. Jin wants some kind of spark of life. And he wants reason to care about his own. He may soon find that reason sooner than he thinks…

Bio:
As previously stated, Jin is very lax, and just floats throughout his life. He lives with his harshly critical mother, who is still grieving the loss of his “perfect” older brother Jack. She wishes he was more like Jack, who had plans and made friends and was almost everything Jin was not. This comparison further fuels his bleached outlook on life. He usually spends his days in class if he decides to go, and when he’s there he often sleeps in the back during class to the chagrin of his teachers, if they even notice. After school he works part time at a coffee shop that a lot of his classmates frequent, especially this one specific group…He often looks quite apathetic when there, and robotically takes orders and makes every item perfectly as it was taught like clockwork. Then he might go home, and do his chores just as robotically, and play video games or surf the internet on his phone in the dark until he gets sleepy.

However, there are rumors that Jin may lead a double life….

Appearance:
Jin is of Korean descent, with messy neck length jet black hair that he doesn’t bother trying to keep neat. His skin takes on a paler tone, possibly due to his lack of getting much sun. He often wears a large, thick, hooded navy parka left open. This particular parka is his favorite and he wears it almost every day. Underneath this is a plain white V-neck T-shirt with coffee stains on it near the hem. (also the shirt he wears to work.) For pants he wears navy colored chinos and a pair of black vans he can easily put on without having to untie the laces. He stands at around 6’0 feet tall.

Other:

• His favorite food is a loaf of bread. I'm not kidding.
• His favorite color is white.
• His father lives with him as well, as a teacher at the school as well as the school counselor.

Arcana:
0. The Fool – The Fool is often described as the void from which all other things begin. It represents innocence, divine inspiration, madness, freedom, spontanaeity, inexperience, chaos, and creativity. People associated with this arcana are often described as blank slates and receiving this Arcana symbolizes a new beginning of a journey. Some texts explain this as The Journey of the Fool.

Persona:
Loki – Loki is a major Norse deity, known as a trickster who clashes with other gods. He was accepted by Odin and became his blood brother. Despite this, he murdered Baldr, Odin’s son and the god of light, which robbed the world of light and signaled Ragnarok, the end times. He was punished for this deed, but would go on to lead the giants against the gods in Ragnarok.

Persona Skills:

• Bufudyne – Loki can freeze the moisture in the air to create large forms of ice, which he can use to attempt to encase an opponent or then throw after formation. Deals incredible ice damage to a single target.
• Trick Step – A Passive skill that increases the speed and reaction time of both Loki and Jin, allowing them to evade and react to incoming attacks easier.
• Skewer – Loki slashes at the opponent with his sword.

Talents:
Jin is proficient in any and everything he does. He just doesn’t apply himself. Jin is a very talented liar and can make up any good story or excuse if he wanted to and could do it all with a straight face. He isn’t afraid of consequences or being looked at as a ‘liar’. He is also very good at video games, and is good at finding hacks and bugs and tricks to put himself ahead of the competition.
